a very comfortable hotel with very good service, big clean rooms, great breakfast and lovely view. Conference facilities are very good. Free wifi il the loby makes communication with home easy. Location is not so convenient from the center of the city and shoping areas, but its an easy 10 minutes walking and the weather was great.

Room Tip: facing the river !!

We managed to get a very attractive Summer discounted offer as traditional customers (ECB and business customers) were on holidays.
Friendly and professional staff.
We were able to have an affordable glimpse of what is luxury.
Proximity to the Central Rail Station, the tram lines and the museums on the other bank of the river with access by pedestrian bridge made it easy to do plenty of things in 1.5 days.
Strange and unfortunate that Wi-fi was not available in rooms.

I needed a one-night stay close to the train station after arriving on the long-haul late in the evening. The staff were courteous and helpful, the room spacious enough and the shower had a good flow. The breakfast selection was excellent. The waiter even took the trouble to remember my name - a bit cheesy, but I can see hwy some people would be tickled by that detail. Bed and breakfast for under 9000 yen is a great deal. The location is good for exploring the river bank museums. This hotel does the job.

A regular visitor to frankfurt, i hadn't stayed at the intercon for a couple of years. Its not got any better. The very depressing extension building has gone, but what is left still feels old and charmless. It is quite cheap, but others in the same price bracket (eg Meridien) are better value.

Location is not so convenient from the central station as it is not walking distance especially carrying the suitecase but too close for taking the taxi accordingly not welcomed by taxi driver.
Room is not very spacious but well equipped and clean. I like the breakfast of this hotel as there are variety of foods and taste is very good.

Room Tip: No specific idea.

I am on the last day of a 8 day stay at this hotel. Well, echoing what others have said, this hotel does not feel like most InterContinentals. It just doesn't have the look or feel of the brand. The hotel overall is a bit dreary, just out of the main area. you can walk to the centrum area for in about 10-15 minutes, so it is not bad, but it is far away from everything. Nothing bad, just very average.

Pro's:
I found the staff to be very pleasant.
the views are nice on the river side.
Bed was comfortable ( maybe a little to soft)
Towels are great

Cons:
nothing near to it
a bit dreary
small bathrooms
old style tv, and as an english speaker, only channel in english is cnn.
Rooms get very hot, with no way to cool them.

Room Tip: Whatever you do, keep your bathroom door closed if you want your room to cool down. Heat behind mirr...

Yes, the bathroom is very tiny and the tub slow to empty. But towels and bathrobe and slippers make up for that. Bed is a bit soft and the Internet access 20 euro and the laundry service person has trouble speaking German and English, but the lighting is good and the view nice and the desk set up for a computer. There is a Minnie bar but no Mickey bar and a free bottle of mineral water. Breakfast was included and was good and the room had enough tables and was run efficiently.
Bad is the location, and although convenient to the train station it is not really all that close to a u Bahn unless you go to the train station. Overall, as a business hotel it is between three and for stars mostly because of the somewhat untrained staff and the old tv and the overall feeling of the place.
