This hotel is quite old and very expensive for what it is.

We booked the room months ago and requested a high floor. On check in they said we were on the second floor and their were no other rooms of our type left. They said that if we wanted a higher floor we would have to pay more for this. We didn't accept their "generous" offer.

On checkout they said we had an orange juice from the mini bar which we didn't.

Pillows were uncomfortable.

TV picture was out of focus.

Some of the lights did not work.

Myself and my two sisters booked this hotel for a mini reunion, the staff were lovely and very helpful
With all out needs. The hotel is in a prime location for exploring the nearby old town and shopping area.
We didn't eat at the hotel but used the spa facilities which were great and had drinks in the bar.
A great place for a short city break.

Spent 1 night in Frankfurt on a business trip. Nice hotel with large spacious room. I was on the 12th floor overlooking the river and the business district. Room is spacious with living area, small kitchenette. Shame internet was not included and the TV didn't work.
The hotel is next to the river and I had a nice jog along the river bank.
The breakfast buffet spread was decent. Overall a very pleasant stay.

This Hotel is a High Quality, Elegant hotel with all the amenities. The rooms are sweet like and have a nice living room, bedroom, and bath with tub and shower. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel has fitness facilities and services available but we did not have an opportunity to utilize these services. Yes the hotel is pricey compared to most travelers looking for a budget vacation, but prices are negotiable and if on a long vacation you deserve a little pampering once in a while.

Have stayed here a couple of times over Christmas New Year prior to 2012. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable and if you manage to get one on an upper floor you get marvellous views over the city or the river. Room sizes and layout vary but most are good. prices are slightly high but this is a 4* hotel in Frunkfurt, lots of business use so they probably don't mind.
food in the restaurant is very nice and good quality but again a bit pricey.
Staff are not unpleasant but very business like and it is possible to go a week without getting a good morning from them. Location is a bit out of the way albeit a half hour walk to the city centre, best choice would be getting the tram which stops about 5 minutes away.. The river is on the doorstep so this is handy and the walkways here are well used by joggers and walkers. Shops and restaurants in Sachsenhausen are about 10-15 minutes walk away.
The spa services are often fully booked in advance and prices are a bit expensive. The pool and health suite are good to use but not much provision is made for chairs or loungers especially if busy. Staff are not very good at stopping children (and adults) mking a nuisance of themselves in the small pool.

Good - bathroom lovely and modern, eye-catching building, well equipped rooms, very good size rooms, some rooms have a fantastic view, tram stop nearby for access to town. Breakfast has a very good choice, unless you want cooked.

This could be a fabulous hotel, but there's far too much lets it down.

Not so good - ambience - service very abrupt, not much smiling goes on, don't know how you get a high floor facing the good view, even though tried to book it 3 times, food expensive (including breakfast), some fixtures/fitting in room tatty or broken eg socket hanging off wall, lots of little thing not there or not replaced and unless you knew to ask would go without, Spa attendants really unhelpful, almost grumpy, house keeping starts ringing doorbells far too early and are persistent .

We've been here 3 times, over New year, and it's very subdued in the hotel. Christmas decorations seem to be removed by 2 days after, and apart from a very expensive dinner, nothing is made of N.Y. even although the town goes daft with fireworks. No-one seems to recognise you or say hello, even though we stay for a week at a time, so unlikely e'd stay again.

A ver nice four star hotel in a highrise building. If on the upper floors you have a great view of the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful with directions and tips for things to do in the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a little kitchenette, beds are nice. This is a good alternative for business travellers and tourists. The hotel is a little off the center but you can reach it conveniently on foot or with public transport. I prefer this location over the central downtown area round the railway station which can range from sterile to seedy.
