Lindner Hotel & Residence Main Plaza

Certificate of Excellence

We had booked 3 days in the Main Plaza. The spacious suite was fantastic, service and friendliness of the staff were overwhelming. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel bar with its failed coctails was an experience. The perfect location directly at the banks of the River Main and directly to the City Centre (comfortable walking), emphasize the overall of a first class hotels. We look forward to our next visit to the Main Plaza Frankfurt.

A very good hotel, but a little bit away from the main shopping areas of Frankfurt, however the rooms a big, 1 minute to s supermarket, 5 minutes to a good sized train station (where you can get anywhere in 10 minutes) and especially in the midst of winter has a great sauna/spa area.

Internet was surprisingly good value with deals available for 10E a day and got cheaper with the length of your stay.

The real gem apart from the big rooms was the day spa which was modern, right on the river with great views, and had two saunas, a steam room, and another room. Also the pool was fantastic.

I was truly amazed at the size and decor of the suite. It was diffently a great deal!!! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable.
Parking garage was in basement. Upon placing key against key pad the door automatically opened. There were a few doors on the way to elevator, which like the lights were on a time squence, all automatically opened. Little details like this might seem trivial, but after a five hour drive from Munich to Frankfurt, the last thing you want is to run an obstacle course just getting to your room. This is just one example of the thought that went into the hotel and rooms!

I spent unfortunately only two nights at the Lindner Main Plaza on a business trip and can strongly recommend this hotel to business travellers in Frankfurt and to tourists willing to make a little effort to go downtown (anyway a very short trip by taxi).
Rooms are huge, in fact the size of an apartment, and very smartly furnished with fine marble in the bathroom.
This is the kind of room that makes guests stay long periods (I refer mainly to business people) without getting claustrophobic and wishing to checkout as soon as possible.
Breakfast highly expensive but excellent.
Staff professional and courteous.

I stay at the Lindner about five times a year (always on business), and it just gets better & better.

The rooms are great (about €150 inc breakfast) and the size of a good apartment. The views (if you stay about the 8th floor) of Frankfurt are stunning, and the staff terrific.

I wouldn't honestly stay at another hotel in Frankfurt.

Very nice Hotel.

Our room was excellent, very big with a great view of the city (not river unfortunately) and facilities bath, shower etc... were superb.

Location isn't perfect for downtown but it's a short walk to the tram stop nearby and it's only a few minutes to town. Sachenhausen (sp.?) is a very short walk away.

Only gripe was with the non-inclusive breakfast which cost 46 Euro for 2 people and really wasn't worth that, although it was fine as a breakfast. 2nd day we went and bought some stuff from a market round the corner for about 5 Euro as the rooms have a kitchen! Same difference...!

Overall a great stay and recommended indeed.

I can heartily recommend this hotel. We take two adjoining rooms. Both were big, very big indeed, by European standards. Everything was spick-and-span. This is a well appointed hotel, reminiscent of the quality you find in some of the Asian capitals.
