Stayed for 1 night in June for business.
Room overview
Single bed
TV
Kettle with tea making facilities
Safe in room
Towels and soaps / shampoo in bathroom
Decent hangers with clips to hang trousers

Bad points
The rooms were tiny and very hot no air-con, and the biggest sin of all was no hot water in the evening or in the morning, this seems to be a common theme among large city centre hotels.

Lift was dreadful, stayed on the 4th floor, sounded like it was going to break down at any moment, hated using it, stairs very steep and spiral all the way up if you don’t want to use the lift.

The hotel was like a rabbit warren, easy to get yourself lost.

The bedroom window opened right out onto the fire escape, so good news in the event of a fire, but major lack of security as I could have climbed out of my window and could go in and out of rooms up and down the fire escape all day long. Use the safe in the wardrobes, dont forget!
Had my window open at night and it was quite noisy.

Good points

Good location, easy reach of the train station and tube

Good breakfast with a good selection. This made up for the bad points above!

Good steak restaurant next door with bars very close, so if you are staying on business for the night, you can easily have your dinner and drinks within 30 seconds of the hotel…but beware of those spiral stairs if you have had a few!!

Conclusion
Small and hot rooms with no hot water, desptie a decent breakfast I would not stay again.

The room where they will send to is not the one you will see on their advertisements ot on the hotel webpage!

There a passage from the hotel to an old buiding on the left side where the rooms and the smell is relly bad.

They willsend you there and when you come complain about the rooms they veru nicelly told you that they havebetter rooms available but you will have to pay extra...

One night stay at Ramada Hotel. At first not too happy due to reviews read. However, we arrived at the hotel before 8am. Not only did they check us in, but also upgraded us to a business room. What was great about the room is kettle, etc. Receptionist assisted with available tours. Hotel 3 blocks away from main entrance of main train station. Short walk and easy to find. Some reviewers complained about "red light" area....the only red light I saw was the traffic light!
Buffet breakfast good.
The only frustration was that all the channels on TV was German.

The hotel is quite conveniently located in the town center and has clean, modern and spacious rooms. Definitely liked it pretty much.

hi,
myself and my boyfriend booked this hotel for a romantic break. we arrived late on a friday night and was told the hotel had made a mistake with the booking and we had to stay in a nearby hotel. i was assured it was the same standard and given an upgrade, free internet use and free mini bar. we went to the comfort hotel and it was a dump. the rooms were tiny, the place was grotty it was the worst hotel room i have ever seen. i immediatly rang the ramada to complain. they called me back offering a room the next day. I made my complaints known but it was only when i highlighted that a staff member had lied about the other hotels rating, that the laptop was stolen from the comfort hotel so they had no internet access and that i had taken photos to post on this site that they gave an upgrade. This room was small but done to a high standard. We had no problems after this but as hotel star ratings are self classified, 1-2 star hotels advertise as 4 star. i am not generally fussy but the room in the comfort hotel was the worst i have seen and it is disgraceful that the ramada attempt to send customers there. since the superior room in the ramada is small, the standard must also be tiny.

Stayed here for 2 nights during the Christmas markets. The hotel is really central being only a few minutes walk from the HauptBahnhof and nothing more than a 10 or 15 minute stroll from the Altstadt where everything was happening.
The room we were given was pretty small but comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower was relatively large and very clean.
All the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed them.
There were renovations taking place in the hotel at the time but there was very little noise or disruption despite this.
The buffet breakfast which was included in our stay was very good even if there was a slight queue at the tea/coffee making facilities.
Overall my girlfriend and I were delighted with this little hotel especially since our booking cost us less than €120 for two nights
