“Only one floor was open”
Reviewed 25 January 2014

There was only one floor of the museum open when I visited. The part that I saw was interesting, particularly how they designed a couple of the skyscrapers in Frankfurt.

“interesting way to spend a couple of hours”
Reviewed 21 December 2013

the museum is small and starts a little underwhelmingly but increases in interest as you move through it. The first two floors were given over to an exhibition on franco-german architecture in the 19th and 20th century, which was quite dry. It was however well set out and very informative for me (someone who knows little or nothing about the subject). The next floor contained something like 20 models tracking the development of architecture from 5,000 BC or so. These were wonderful. The top floor contained an interesting exhibition of new Brazilian architects' work.
There's also a nice but small café.

“Nice but small museum on the "Museumufer" (Main-river bank)”
Reviewed 2 April 2013

Nice but small museum. What is attractive is that there are 4 or 5 more museums on this "Museumufer" (Main-river bank). And also it is nice to walk near the Main-river.

“An interesting view also for neophites!”
Reviewed 8 March 2013

I'm not an architecture expert but I found very interesting this visit.

The exhibition develops on 4 levels; gound floor is dedicated to sustainable and livable buildings. The projects and the pIctures are very clear and understandable.

Also very interesting the UNESCO floor, whe you can find a selection of very well illustrated places in Germany making part of the UNESCO recognised areas.

Nice!

“Great place to learn about architecture”
Reviewed 5 March 2013

Following the complete renovation of the building, the location itself is worth seeing. Changing exhibits are interesting and the main collection includes some great pieces.
