“Interesting place for fans of Andy Warhol”
Reviewed 23 September 2013

The museum exhibition is quite interesting because both the pernament collection and a contemporary exhibition are well arranged and contain a variety of art objects. Apart from paintings and sculptures I saw though-provoking and interactive installations, which were quite amusing. However, the most interesting museum pieces are Andy Warhol's paintings. Unfortunatelly the museum itself is rather small. After 90 minutes I finished my tour so it was a little disappointment (the ticket cost 10 EU). To sum up the museum is a good place for people vividly interested in modern art but it's overpriced.

“Interesting but disappointing”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

The current exhibition is of the work of Franz West. As you walk into the exhibition space the introduction on the wall explains West's approach to art, particularly that art should be touched and used by its audience so that they are not just viewers, but users of the art, effectively creating their own interpretation of it. It goes on to say that a green hand sign indicates pieces that can be touched. The first room includes the green hand sign and you can touch and sit on the pieces on display. From then on you need to be careful. With the exception of one other exhibition room, nothing can be touched and couches which appear to be for sitting on to view the work are apparently also out of bounds. Staff followed us around making sure that we didn't touch anything or sit anywhere and we felt that this was both not in the spirit of the artist's intention for the work, but also very untrusting. I have to say that it spoilt the experience for us. Many of the works clearly need to be touched, chairs sat on, etc. for the work to be really appreciated and so this current exhibition is disappointing. The space itself is excellent and perhaps future exhibitions will be more welcoming and satisfying.

“Nice New Museum Facility”
Reviewed 5 September 2013

We were more impressed with the facility than the art. This is a realitively new building. The gallery design and layout are very creative. Since there was little if any permanent collection on display your experience will vary with the quality of the visiting shows.

“Weird but so much FUN!”
Reviewed 20 August 2013

I visited this museum with my sister and had a blast! The main exhibit right now is interactive, which means you can touch everything! We took loads of hilarious pictures! Highly recommend.

Also, don't miss an incredible cafe straight down the street called Bitterzart (or something close). You can't miss it, it is magenta with paintings all over the walls.
