“Good location”

I booked this hotel because it was near the main railway station, also getting a 3* hotel for a good price.I certainly wouldn't call it 3*.The room was on the small side, out dated furniture, strange stains on the carpet and a small bathroom. The breakfast was ok.The best part of this hotel was the view out of the window.

I read some good reviews for this hotel before booking. When we got there I couldn't believe I had the right hotel! Hotel Europa was very shabby. Even the front desk was badly in need of an upgrade. The room was very small but, to be fair, the beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very cramped - you almost had to sit sideways on the toilet.
Breakfast was just ok. Very small selection of food but tea and coffee was available all the time.
I'm not sure if there are two types of rooms - the ones that got good reviews and the ones like we were given or if some of the reviews were not genuine but Europa is not a hotel I would recommend for most people.
If the price was really cheap and young travellers were on a tight budget, it would be fine to stay for a night. However, I don't think it was cheap at 79 euro and it certainly didn't suit an older couple like us.
The positives are that we were greeted in a friendly manner and the Wifi worked well.

Europa Hotel GMBH is the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to have a travel agent book on my behalf. Europa Hotel GMBH is outrageously over-priced and nowhere near the advertised 4 star hotel. The room was miniscule; the outlook was of garbage and rubbish strewn on neighbouring apartments 10m away; the rooms are noisy; the decor cheap and nasty; and service was aggressive and unpleasant. There was no response to concerns.

Room Tip: Avoid this hotel.

The rooms in this hotel are very small, so don't expect to be doing much in the room. This hotel is good for spending the night before a flight or train ride, but I wouldn't spend much more time than that. They also "lost" our Internet reseveration twice, so call to confirm if you go that route. Once of those times they put us in a smoking room, which was pretty gross if you are not a smoker. Breakfast was OK, but not great.

Smallest room we have stayed in on our Europe trips. There wasn't room for our bags, and we needed to store one in the bathroom and the other upright in the bedroom. The wardrobe wasn't large enough to stand a bag upright in. Having said that, the fittings were impeccable, the bathroom had the best shower I've ever seen, and the bed was very comfortable. The mini bar was free, and the included breakfast included freshly made omelettes and eggs to order which were delicious. Next door was a fantastic Persian restaurant which we enjoyed very much, and it was a short walk to town for shopping and the museums on the other side of the river. The service was very friendly and helpful. It was located close to the railway station, which was good, but right on a main road which was very noisy.

Room Tip: Try to get a room higher up to avoid road noise.

We booked Europa Style hotel not knowing exactly where it was in relationship to shopping and dining areas. We were happy to find that it was within walking distance to Zeil (shopping area) and Romer (traditional German style cuisine). It is also close to River Main with walking and biking trails. But this was only one great aspect of this hotel. The service we received was outstanding. Everyone was very pleasant, from front desk to housekeeping. You will not feel like just a number like many other larger hotels. The room was bigger than other places we have stayed in Europe, and has a modern flair. There were many food options available on the breakfast buffet and all of it was fresh and delicious. We highly recommend Europa Style. You will not be disappointed.

We were more than pleased with all aspects of the Hotel Europa Style. It is quite close to the Frankfurt Bahnhof. We were greeted very pleasantly. The room was larger than many European hotels we've stayed in. There was a small balcony. The room itself was quite modern and clean, with many electrical outlets, a desk set up for computer use, free wifi, flat screen TV that got CNN, a well-stocked minibar that we were told at the reception was free to take all we wanted, and a nicely appointed bathroom, The breakfast was also quite well done with fresh fruit and even omelets made to order.
At checkout I found out that there are two related hotels: Hotel Europa Style and Hotel Europa Life that are adjacent to each other and share a common reception. Style is only slightly more than a year old, and has more amenities, with a higher price tag – we paid 86 euros, which included breakfast for the two of us. Hotel Europa Life apparently is more modest, and even has a separate breakfast area and offerings. I was told that each has a separate website. In fact I reserved through the Hotel Europa Style website and they didn't even ask for a credit card number to hold the room.
This is the way to run a hotel!

Room Tip: If making a reservation with Hotel Europa be aware there is a difference between Hotel Europa Style...
