The hotel is located 25 meters off the main train station. This is of course good if you're travelling by train and it's conveniant to store your luggage at the hotel on day of check out. Walking from the hotel to the city centre and the banking district brings you right trough the red light district and as a single male you'd get approached all the time, especially at night. The exposure is quit heavy and nothing for families.
The rooms are nice with spatious bathrooms and comfortable beds. Nothing extra but ok for a 4-star hotel.
Breakfast was somewhat dissapointing. The numbers of dishes at the buffet was very limited. It also took a few minutes before I realized that you'd to order your eggs, which normally is good as you can get them as you like them, but it took 20 min to get the eggs on the table, although there where only one other guest in the breakfast area.
The fitness area is too small and could be improved.
When having a beer in the eveing, we actually thought that the barman was going to fall asleep, but his phone rang and he spoke for 20 min while we tried to order a 2nd round.
I think that the price/achivement correlation was good at this hotel.More
