I found this hotel to be ideal for a business trip. Its close to the centre of Frankfurt and is surprisingly cheap considering the location. Its an old hostel that now has the top florr converted into "business class" rooms.
The restaurant / bar is good and the meeting rooms are very suitable.
The only downside I found was the internet access was patchy.

Room Tip: top floor is most suitable

The hotel was recently renovated and it looks very good. It is charming, modern and nice. All necessary facilities are available, and also free wifi.Very good shower and nice bathroom, breakfast is OK and you can get a decent warm meal. It has three stars but it measures up to some of the four star hotels in Frankfurt. The official pictures of the hotel are the ones that match with the current state of the hotel. The old travellers' pictures don't.

We stumbled upon this hotel as we got into Frankfurt without having had a reservation elsewhere, we were able to make one for an ensuite double room here. From the outside, the hotel did not appear to be in a "good neighborhood", and they were doing construction in and outside the building. Our room was newly renovated, with a "raw wood" type of desk, dresser, wardrobe, and bed. All brand new though. The bathroom was enormous, with a large, very hot shower (my favorite in all of our trip!). We were on the 6th floor and there were 2 working elevators, and a small parking lot out back. In addition, this was an easy 5-10 min walk across the Main to the Sachsenhausen area (and good bars and pubs!).

We only stayed one night after going to friends wedding. The building does not look very inviting from the outside and the reception area is a bit gloomy, but our room was clean and comforable enough, though nothing special. Car parking was available for 8 euros a night. The breakfast was OK. There are plenty of fancier places to stay in Frankfurt but this place was quite cheap and perfectly adequate for one night. (PS regarding price increases during trade fairs (Messe) this is standard practice in Germany. In Munich for example, the "Messezuschlag" can be up to 100% of the room rate. You just have to check before you travel whether there is a cheduled trade fair on your anticipated travel time).

This hotel has seen better days (to lock the door with the key took quite a bit of fiddling and their Internet connection did not work; however, the room was comfortable (if small). The staff was very helpful and let me check-in a few hours earlier. Very close to the S-Bahn stop. Easy walk to the centre of Frankfurt. Heard good reports about the restaurant though I didn't eat there due to an early check-out.
