“Very good reception staff”

We stayed in room 624 on the sixth floor at the back of the hotel. Allthough we were looking over the highway and the planes from the Franfurt airport were flyinng over us allday and most of the night there were no noise after closing the window. One of the best front desk so far. They have quick response on all our requests. No problem with breakfast and transfer to the airport on our last day. The only problem is the 20 minutes walk to the local S-banhof. Get a map and wear your walking shoes and walk through Buro standt. Train connect Niederrad and cental Frankfurt every 30 minutes. During working days it is more crowdy but on weekends is very nice.

Room Tip: i wouldn't stay on the U or EG level. They are in the parking, and the ground floor. View from 6...

I booked this hotel because is has described as "Motel-One Frankfurt-Airport". I had an early departure and wanted to be near the airport. The hotel is very stylish but rooms are very compact. The price was good and wifi included. The fly in the ointment was that the airport shuttle didn't run when I needed it and the hotel is 20 euros taxi ride in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing around there but the hotel and a motorway. Check-in was incredibly slow too. Took almost an hour for two people.

Room Tip: make sure the shuttle is running at the times you want to travel. It's a long way so allow extra...

I have visited Motel One - Frankfurt many times and spent here both business trips overnight as well as vacations. This hotel is very well located - close to the Frankfurt airport. The rooms are not big but perfectly clean and furnished. Price is acceptable, you just need to consider the extras (breakfast not included, parking, internet etc.) From the other hand I was always satisfied here. There are also some supermarkets approx 1 km from the place which is good to buy some food etc. Very close to the A5 and A3 highway. Last year it was internally reconstructed and renovated, this year I could see external reconstruction. This means that hotel still improves.
I can recommend to stay here!

Room Tip: if possible - for aircraft fans - you can have rooms situated to see landing or starting aircrafts...

The room was too small, if you have one bag the room is already crowded. Nowhere to place your luggage, the washbasin is located outside the bathroom which is strange, the shower was too small and o bath supplies however the newly remodeled room was clean. Sitting for breakfast was in the lobby. The hotel located about 8 k. From the main metro station and the nearest metro station was about 1 km which would be ok if the temperature outside was like summer. I'd pay a little more and book closer to the city.

Stay here for a business trip for one night before boarding at FRA airport.
Front desk staff is helpful although I checked in almost 1AM midnight. WIFI available in room.
My room located in basement (room with window) make it a quiet and comfortable.
Breakfast until 10am and I went to the breakfast lounge at 930am. Hot and cold food are still plenty.
Free flow of coffee, tea and hot chocolate make it a great start for the day. Staff are helpful to inform customer before closing the breakfast session.
Shuttle pick up service are very punctual and shuttle driver is very helpful.

Cons:
Renovation with scarf folding surrounding the building make it eye soaring. Hopefully it will be temporary.
Located in industrial/office area. Hard to find a restaurant nearby. Advisable to take your meal before coming.

Info:
Airport shuttle pick up available. Free: FRA airport to hotel. Euro6: Hotel to FRA airport.

Hotel rooms in Frankfurt can be difficult to come by so we used this one while on business in Frankfurt. The first thing that strikes you about this hotel is the rather strange location - it appears to be in the middle of a modern industrial estate, in fact in the middle of nowhere. It is neither immediately near the airport (although there is a free pick up minibus to the airport and you pay for the return trip) and it is quite far from town (EU25 in taxi). It is also not near bars or restaurants and hotel has a very basic (but nice) snack menu. You can walk to an Indian restaurant up the road, but I gave up in the dark as it was too scary and the hotel staff got a take away. The following night I took a taxi into town to eat and came back by can so you need to add EU50 for this, meaning you would be cheaper to stay in town. The hotel is currently clad in scaffolding and there was sacking across the window so difficult to see you. This hotel is a no frills hotel and there is a lot good going for it. It has cool decor, I found the staff very welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast is inexpensive and cheap, a generous continental. You need to bring your own toiletries. There is free wifi but I couldn't get it to work beyond the lobby. I sat on a sofa in the lobby trying to do my work on the wifi and I was conscious there was a woman sitting down opposite me who began to talk to me. It was immediately obvious she was a prostitute high on something, and she had been served a drink at the bar. I signalled over to the reception twice and she eventually removed herself, but she shouldn't have been served in the first place. I would not recommend this hotel for woman travelling alone for reasons of location. I think overall you get what you pay for but I think there must be better value in the airport area, and certainly if you are working in town the taxi costs will wipe out any saving you think you're making by staying here. But again, I think the staff are working hard to do a good job and make things as good as they can.

The hotel is clean and tidy as all the hotels in Germany.
The location is not good, it is far away from the city, and there is nothing nearby.
The staff are arrogant.
There is NO soap in the bathroom which I found odd. There was just a body shampoo which they said should be used for hands, body and hair...
