Brand new and clean, this place offers great value for the money. I booked a pre-paid weekend rate at 60 Euros per night. The room is on the small side, but very efficiently and practically laid out. Comfy beds, large walk-in shower, heated bathroom floors, good views (get a high floor with city view) and about a block walk from the train station, and very near the Messe (main exhibition center). Ordered room service twice and the food quality was quite decent. The internet connection is not free, but speed is excellent. Very quiet, even with the heat turned on. (It is not forced air, but rather a large wall-mounted heating element that makes zero noise.) About the only complaint I had was that the person in the room directly adjacent to ours decided at 3 am that he/she would smoke, in spite of the fact that this is a non-smoking hotel. The smoke smell permeated our room for an hour, until I opened the window. By the way, the hotel offers 8 "hypo allergenic" rooms that cater to the needs of chemically sensitive guests. You don't see that often. The staff is friendly and efficient. We arrived early from the airport, and they let us check in at noon, no problem at all. I'll take this place over the "fancier" unnecessarily more expensive hotels in Frankfurt any day. And that includes the Intercontinental, where I stayed last time. The Moevenpick is better!!

Value for money in middle of Frankfurt downtown.. This hotel was built few years ago and is a hidden tip. It lies between Frankfurt Messe (exhibition & fair ground) and Hauptbahnhof (main station).
The corporate rates were very fair for the cleanness and the class of the hotel.
The parking fees are a bit too expensive but you can find a some free parking outside the hotel as well.
The bar is open until midnight so problem to catup a beed with friends and colleagues.
I would stay again here if I have to come back on business purposes.

The Moevenpick Hotel Frankfurt City is directly adjacent to the Messe fairgrounds (Building 3) and represents excellent value for money. Free internet available at the business centre and the staff were all very friendly and helpful to the point of excess.

Facilities were very nice and the hotel is brand spanking new.

The lack of porters was a bit surprising, but it seemed that everyone was used to the self-service style.

Highly recommended for a business trip, less so far a family outing as it is not that close to shopping or recreational areas.

Stayed here for two nights with my bf and we were disappointed. We checked in early as we had arrived at 4am and waited as much as we could before arriving at the hotel (around 9am). They allowed us to check in early but the girl at the desk was rather rude to us. We had booked it for two people and she rudely said that since we didn't book it for two people, there was an extra charge. We showed her the print off from the computer showing that we had indeed booked it for two people, to which she didn't say another word to us until she gave us our key. Our room was really pretty, but when we went to put on the tv to check the weather for the next day, we realized that we were going to have to PAY for the channels. I know thats typical with movies but TV?! This is the first time I had ever experienced this at any hotel. For the price we paid, i was expecting a few amenities but didn't really get anything. The only good things I can really say is that the rooms were beautiful and the waiter we had at the restaurant downstairs was incredible. Other than that, there was pay tv, which was ridiculous and no business centre (we had to go into Frankfurt and look for an internet cafe to use a computer). The woman checking us out was pleasant though.
Oh, and the location is a little strange. Due to construction, we could not get to it easily at all and walked around the whole block for an hour until someone at a pasta stand told us how to get to the street that we could access the hotel from.
