“Beautiful historic place to visit”
Review of Karmeliterkloster

Karmeliterkloster
Reviewed 19 May 2014

The Karmeliterkloster is free to visit and has some beautiful frescos from the 16th century, depicting the life of Jesus in the cloister and a fresco depicting the life of the Carmelita monks in the refrectory. For €2 you can hire a audio guide with extensive information about the artwork. There are also some modern art exhibits by local Frankfurt artists, too. This place is a small, hidden treasure and worth the visit.
