Good hotel to visit the city, we walked everywhere, it is walking distance to key attractions. The hotel is modern, with a beautiful restaurant where you have a beautiful view of the city. I didn't like the corridors though, pretty ugly. The room was modern and comfy. The shower is surrounded by glass walls, in our case it was OK since we were a couple. We had free WiFi in our room which was great. The staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was good, but I think the service could be improved, the waiters were very busy during breakfast.
Overall our experience was good, I really liked the hotel! I just think the price was not right, 200 euros per night, I think it is too expensive for what you get.

Firstly, let me make it clear that I had to pay 275 euros per night for my week long stay because of a fair being held in Frankfurt. This has coloured my opinion. Usually, it is 95 euros which is probably about right. I do think this hotel has something of an identity problem though. Viewing the well appointed atrium, bar and dining area, you would be forgiven for thinking that this is an upscale establishment. When you enter your room, it’s a different story, I’m afraid. With dingy dark green carpets, a TV monitor too small for the room, a washbasin that has no overflow so you cannot fill it and have to keep the tap running when you are shaving, towels so paper thin that they cannot be reused because they are wringing wet, a bedside lamp that I could switch on and off simply by moving the cord (i.e. dangerous), and finally, a stuffiness that no adjustment of the thermostat or air conditioning can mask, you end up having a fairly grim accommodation experience. While the glass shower cubicle next to the bed mentioned by others is a minor issue for the single traveller, the finish of the rooms is generally poor, with brown mastic showing where the door frames and floor tiles meet the wall. I think you can get the picture: refurbished in a rush. The evening meals in the restaurant were generally good if rather overpriced. I only had one hiccup with a ‘cream of asparagus’ soup that contained no cream and far too much salt. Breakfast is however substandard in that there ‘appears’ to be no hot food on the buffet as well as a poor selection of viennoiserie. Only on the second day, did the waiter who took my coffee order, offer me some bacon and eggs as well. The other serving staff appear to prefer to keep quiet about this extra service, which is just odd if not downright lazy. Had it not been for the single ‘kind’ waiter, I would never have known! I will say nothing about the area suffice that is off the beaten track so no great expectations in that regard. Needless to say, I shall not be returning to Flemings as it represents poor value for money; it appears to be overtrading while taking advantage of high seasonal rates and not meeting some fairly basic standards of comfort that a budget hotel would normally offer.

Room Tip: A lot of rooms overlook the car park directly so try and avoid these especially if you are on the gr...

The hotel has an overall cheap and stale feel to it. The floors are all stone and generally it is not welcoming. The reservations team needed three follow-up calls until the reservation was processed and emailed correctly - not a great start. Additionally, the rooms are not nicely furbished or welcoming. Breakfast is small and the choice could be expanded. Overall, not recommended, especially not for the price of 130 Euros.

I'm here for my 2nd time for Paperworld. The hotel is close to the tram (5 minute walk) but not close for walking to stores/restaurants. It is conveniently located next to city center, train station, messe via a short taxi ride. Staff is very friendly, rooms large and breakfast really good. Wifi is fee but a bit of a hassle; you need to get a password at the desk every day. Restaurant not bad, but service a bit spotty. No laundry srevice on weekends. I hope we stay somewhere else next year.

Plus: location, price if you book through internet(approx. 150 euros x night) wonderful breakfast, nice staff if you speak German like me.
Near to the fair grounds.
Minus: see through shower in the room- no privacy if you are not lovers. The area is pretty lonely if you return by underground by night but I did and it seemed safe! Would return and suggest it to others.

Overall the hotel was good. On arrival the check in was friendly. The rooms are comfortable, modern (with glass shower) and were clean. I was on business so arrived early evening. I needed to get back out to meet people for dinner quite quickly. Having asked for an iron and ironing board on arrival I had to phone on two further occasions to receive it, 40 minutes later!
We ate in the hotel restaurant, the service was very slow, not up to standard (two meals arriving and they had forgotten to cook the third), ordering drinks that did not arrive but put on bill. That said the food was very good.
Breakfast was excellent, fantastic selection of fresh food.
If the service improved I would return.
