“Great location for overnight transit”
Reviewed 22 January 2014 via mobile

This is a nice clean, well run hotel adjacent to the central railway station and 10 to15 minute walk to city centre. Rooms adequate size and breakfast is good. Bit of a pain that you still have stairs after getting out of lift but not sure if all floors. Best to check if stairs are a problem. Also the bathroom is excellent but has a smoked glass wall between it and the bedroom. This means the room is not dark as outside light shines through bathroom in to bedroom. Maybe ask for a dark room if dont like sleeping in the light.

I stayed here for one night on a layover in Frankfurt. The hotel is very conveniently located - a short walk from the main train station and about 15 minutes walk to the shopping area and many landmarks. The room was nice and comfortable, with everything you'd need including excellent wifi. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but did miss my wakeup call in the morning, which wasn't critical. They were nice enough to call remind me not to miss the free breakfast, which had a good selection of items. I would definitely stay here again when passing through the city.

I stayed here for a night while traveling through Frankfurt. The hotel is very close to the Frankfurt Main (Hbf) station, and also to most of the important city landmarks. The room was quiet spacious with a really nice a clean bathroom. The front desk staff was very helpful. The breakfast was great in the morning, with a variety of offerings. High speed internet is also free. I would stay again here if I travel to Frankfurt again.

First of all, it has a perfect location! It took us 3 minutes to get there from the main train station, which after the 5 hour train ride, was a great relief!
The service is very nice and helpful, the rooms clean and comfy, the internet easily accessible and fast - i didn't need much more to call it a very good business hotel. Plus nice breakfast!
Definitely recommended,

Booked this place because the info desk at the train station said it was a short walk and we were tired. This was an emergency stop as we needed to go to the US Consulate to replace our US Passports. The day before had been a bad day and we had to get the train from Berlin to Frankfurt. As we walked down the street we began to worry about where we were going. We saw the hotel and opened the front door. WOW, it looked great.

We went into the hotel and were greeted by a young lady who was from South America, lived in Germany and spoke very good English. We explained our problem and she began to help us. She ordered a taxi for 7 am to take us the Consulate. We then had our son email us a copy of our Passports and she printed them at the desk. We asked when breakfast would be served and she said 7:30 but she would ask the breakfast lady to make us some coffee and to help us out. She also told us they would store our bags while we were gone since the Consulate would not allow us to take them in. Also, having free wifi was another plus for this hotel.

Our room was nice and clean and we had a king sized bed that was very comfortable. When we got up in the morning, packed and went downstairs. The breakfast lady came out and welcomed us in German. She did not speak English. We were treated to coffee and breakfast pastries set up at a table for two. Our taxi arrived on time and off we went. We returned two hours later and the breakfast lady had saved us many of the breakfast items. We retrieved our bags, said our goodbyes and went to the train station.

For everything this hotel did for us, I must give them the 5 stars. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable even with the problems we faced. They were great and I cannot get over how the young lady that evening helped to tired and needy Americans. Yes, we would stay here again and have recommended this hotel to our friends in Germany.

Room Tip: From what I saw, all rooms were nice. Ask for the King Size bed to have a very good nights sleepl

After asking for rates from several other hotels in the area during my first night in Frankfurt, and being given gouging prices by all of them, I finally stumbled across the Townhouse Hotel. The price was refreshingly reasonable. The room was also quite, quite nice.
Other than the room having an odd door handle- the door opens away from you but is opened counter-intuitively by pulling the handle TOWARDS you- and the odd lack of bedsheets- there was only a comforter, and it was sized for a single bed not the double I was sleeping on, this was quite a nice place to stay.

My wife and I have stayed at the Townhouse hotel several times, mostly before early flights from Frankfurt. My latest stay for a night this summer was no dissapointment. It is located not far away from the railway station in a rather quiet street with only trams and pedestrians. It is modern, not too big and has a homely touch to it - a true townhouse! Great breakfast - all in all good value for money in Frankfurt.
