First of all a short overview. Would recommend to stay there if you are going to see any gigs in Batschkapp club as its a short walk from there.
Now I know hotels in Frankfurt are expensive in general though the city had nothing to offer at least to us. There is not much to see and it was strictly a trip to see some bands.
Hotel was easy to find, well its more like a motel with 1 floor buildings and a campsite beside it, but the rooms are nice and look recently refreshed. We stayed in on on the ground floor overlooking the little canal behind it. Staff seemed nice although only two people can speak limited English.
TV had one English news channel rest was German in case anyone wants to spent more time in the room. Beds were comfortable and its quiet.
We had a meal in the restaurant. We do not travel a lot around Germany and I was told food is greasy everywhere, but my steak was ultra basted in oil and a bit too salty, so you might avoid meat dishes, as there was a nice salad buffet, German style though.
Heddernheim is the closer Ubahn station, with more trams stopping there, as the google map shows the entrance to the hotel further north than it is.
Tip: Dont say you want breakfast if you are not sure if you will as they will have the bill ready with the price added. We had to wait 30 mins while being in a hurry for someone who could speak English and able to change the bill and deduct the breakfast we did not want.
It was a nice hotel price still to high for its location if someone wants to be close to city center, but it was very convenient for us.
