Unfortunately I booked this room through 'hotwire', (never again) and although I had asked for a 3 star hotel with en suite bathroom, at our arrival it was a 1 star room with toilet in the corridor!!!We were lucky the receptionist had a spare room with ensuite, even though it was in the 1 star section of the hotel (he did not insist on any re valuation)But I was disguested with the "rip off " from Hotwire.
The hotel was otherwise , clean, with friendly service and remarkably good breakfast .The only down side was perhaps the area (near the station )
Ok for 1 or 2 nights

The pictures do not represent the hotel at all. I booked a Single Bed room believing that I would receive a room like those in the pictures. When I arrived I was told my room was in the "back house". Turns out this is a separate building behind the main one. The moment I went into the room, I noticed something was missing. The toilet. yes, This was unacceptable for me. I know that bathroom sharing isn't such a big deal for many here, but at least the hotel description includes this feature. Not so for the Everest. I would have never booked the place if I new the bathroom was down the (very dark) hall. Oh, and the free wireless internet? Not in the "back house". Nope, you can barely get a signal in the main building. Again, having online access is important to me, so the free wireless internet was a big draw. Too bad it didn't exist. The room I was booked into was clean - I'll give them that. Problem is, the room was smaller than most European rooms (and they're already small). And one last thing - the back house is made of cinderblock, so forget about a cell phone signal inside the room.
Please stay away

After a long flight the hotel everest was a welcome place to land. Check in staff ccould not have been more courteous and efficient. The room was large and clean. The internet worked well enought to download some backlogged New Yorkers. The front desk staff suggested a walk along the river followed by dinner in the Romer section of Frankfurt. The hotel was quiet and breakfast was adequate with all the basics one expects from a German breakfast, much better than a Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn Express in the US.

the hotel is a 15 minute walk from the Frankfurt Station. Flat with nice sidewalks.

convienient, clean, and at the right price what else could you ask for.

My company booked me into this hotel on a recent work trip to Frankfurt and, after reading the previous reviews, I was filled with some trepidation particularly about the possibility of a shared toilet!

On arriving at the hotel I was checked in efficiently and took the lift to my fifth floor room where I discovered a shower, basin and - thank god - a toilet. The rest of the room was large (it actually had a wardrobe room which itself was bigger than some main rooms I have stayed in) and had two adequately comfortable single beds, a table and chair and a TV. The room was spartan but clean. Unfortuantely there were no tea/coffee making facilities and these were not available from the reception.

The brekfast was ok and there was cerainly plenty of it. Other than that the staff were friendly and the location ok (5 minute walk from the main station).

As a business traveller it was some way short of the standards I expect but this was reflected by the price. For someone wanting budget accomodation whilst visiting Frankfurt it was perfectly suitable.

They are not worth spending time describing, BUT to everyone contemplating living there - DON'T!!! Examples like free internet included - means ONLY if you sit in the reception area. Most rooms - even though not described - have toilet and bath in the dirty hall-ways. And on the dirty note - everything is dirty - I mean EVERYTHING! They can NEVER have been awarded the stars they have - 1 star is too much and together with a price of €125 for tiny double room without toilet and bath during fair-weeks is utterly rip-off!

Horrible hotel - particularly given the price paid! Heating unreliable, breakfast poor, room as spartan as is possible to be.

Be warned!

My room was very small and i had a shower and sink in the room, not a separate area from the room.
The toillet was on the corridor.
Breakfast was poor.
The internet connection is only available at the lobby / restaurant area and not in the room.

I wouldnt recommend it.
