This is one of those places that could go unnoticed in the hustle and bustle near Frankfurt's main train station district (Haupbahnhof). But do make the effort to find it because it is well worth the effort. And if you haven't been to Vietnam, this place will offer you the perfect primer hosted by a couple of natives that could not make you feel more welcome. In fact, the minute you walk in you feel as if you had just walked into their very cozy living room. The decor is streamlined and tastefully modern inside this 200-plus year building. The menu is limited but there's a reason for this. The food is simple, essentially good for you and tasty without ever overwhelming your palate. That's not to say that your palate won't go down a wild ride on flavor road. Pho Ngon is a winner in a sea of lesser establishments in the busiest district of Europe's financial capital.
