Two things clinched this place's 3 stars, when it could easily have gone for four:
* the fact that smoking is allowed inside
* the size of the bill in relation to the quality of the dishes (a tad rich)
We were seated on the first floor in an almost empty room on a friday night around 6:30pm. By 7:30pm the place had become crowded and people had started smoking.
Food was quite good (Zarzuela for two, sardines for one, tapas such as Gambas al ajillo &Pulpo) although the price tag was a bit steep, especially considering the dishes were rushed out in quick succession, a fact which the waittress apologised for.
If you can stand a few people smoking around you while you eat and you like spanish food in a typical spanish atmosphere (not high brow but down-to-earth), then you'll enjoy this place.
