Great food especially the salads, very refreshing as we're the beers. Lovely people with patience and a willingness to help and of course always speaking English. The menu was very extensive and if you can get a seat outside its worth spending time people watching plus a little bit of car voyeurism. Definitely a better class of auto turbulence.

Nice coffee plus a particular Portuguese custardy tart I never managed to get my teeth into when my daughter took a fancy to them, she was only two.

I visited twice in three days, once for early evening supper and the next time for late night drinks, brilliant. Watch out for the tree dwellers, they do like to visit, one way or another.

I know Cafe Karin and have been there several times but this time for a good and nice breakfast and indeed it was a very nice breakfast. We ordered eggs, tea, the "Ostend" and something else (forgot the name), a bircher müsli and the banana yoghurt. The yoghurt and the müsli were surprisingly good and tasty. Service is quick and friendly, prices are fair. The place is big, you have indoor and outdoor seating. The location is perfect, right at Hauptwache. I can totally recommend it for actually everything: breakfast, lunch, light dinner or just a cup of coffee/tea with friends.

Definitely worth visiting. It's usually full, but there's always someone leaving, so no long wait times. Breakfast menu is in German and English. Lunch menu is hand written in German, but a friendly waitress gently offered to translate it if we wanted to have lunch. Anything you ask is delicious, great portions and fair prices. They have salads, eggs, sandwiches, fresh juices - the banana juice is unmissable. I'm sure you'll want to come here more than once!

I love the Cafe Karin, specially for breakfast during weekends.
Always nice atmosphere, but also usually full...

This cafe is a Frankfurt institution. it offers great food, all fairly traditional but with a modern and healthy twist. The food and coffee are great. At peak times, it can be difficult to find a seat and service can then also run a bit slow, but otherwise the service is efficient, friendly and informal. Kids are very welcome here. I can hardly think of a better place in central Frankfurt for a good breakfast or a light lunch.
