Very interesting both by day and night! Quite touristy but not too bad. Possibly awful in high season! Worth visiting.

Enjoyed walking up and down very busy but this makes it interesting quite a few music places to stop and have a drink or eat.

It is not as wide or as long as the famous York street but it is every bit as touristy. You can't avoid the Drosselgasse, if only because it is a major pedestrian thoroughfare between the riverfront and the centre of the old town. There are a couple of interesting shops, at least one of which offered its wares at surprisingly sensible prices. The lane has several eateries but we avoided them on account of the appalling pianist outside one of the establishments and the intrusive accordion player two doors away.
