This is one of the nicest parts of Wiesbaden whatever the season, although it is nicest in Spring and Summer, and one of my favourite areas of Wiesbaden. Nice for a walk and a popular place to go jogging. Many locals take their dogs for a walk here. The park starts at the end of the Taunusstrasse. In Spring and Summer, there are some beautiful shrubs blooming and for a short time, you can see magnificent magnolia trees in bloom in light pink and white shades.

Apart from the various trees and plants here, you will often see red squirrels running about, especially early in the morning in Spring. They are very cute.

The Nerotal area around the park has the most magnificent villas from the 19th century. They are not only huge but incredibly ornate. The villas are from the romantic to Jugendstil (art deco) epochs. The park and area is referenced in guides to the Romatic Rhein area.

This is a great area to stay if you are on business in Wiesbaden.

Take bus 1 from the station or centre of Wiesbaden to get here. There is a small car park at the edge of the park.

There is a little cafe at the edge of the park near the Tanusstrasse where you can sit inside or outside in Summer.

This is one of the most elegant city parks in Wiesbaden. It is surrounded by villas from the 19th centuries, each of them is a unique master piece of architecture. You can easily reach the Neroberg mountain tramway at one end or at the other end walk into the Taunusstreet. In mid-distance of the park, you can walk up the streets to the Russian Orthodox Church.

Remember the ong - I love Paris in the Spring time? Well I love Wiesbaden in spring - when you arrive there from cold wintery Montreal one is met by flowers and trees in full bloom and everything is pristine. The Nerotal is quite lovely and well aranged.

When you are in Wiesbaden you should definetly go to the hill Neroberg. On your way to this hill there is a nice park call Netoral. Amazing villas all around this place! Enjoy your walk!
