“If you're in the area, stop and take a look”
Reviewed 30 November 2012

I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to see the open air museum because there isn't much there. But, if you're already in the area, stop and take a look. It has the remains of a Roman aqueduct and some replicas of artifacts found in the area. (I'm pretty sure they're replicas and not originals, but I'm not 100% sure). Anyway, you can view the whole area in less than 30 minutes.

“Not much to see - But interesting”
Reviewed 21 July 2010

Found in the old city, the "museum" is a collection of stone tablet copies of Roman items discovered in Wiesbaden. They are displayed along the road next to the Roman Gate (Römertor). They have dated the Gate to be from around 364-375 A.D.

There is not much to see, but the few items give a glimpse of Roman history in Wiesbaden.
