“Fantastic stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 January 2014

Stayed for a week between Christmas and into the New Year. The room was facing the courtyard, so although not the best views, it was very quiet which for it's central Wiesbaden location is a plus! The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, large, comfortable, great shower (no bath), and very comfortable bed. I have to say, we thoroughly enjoyed using the spa, which has been updated recently, was brilliant, think we visited the spa practically every day!

The staff at the hotel are brilliant - from bar staff, room service staff, receptionists to cleaners (who cleaned the room at all times of the day!), the staff were outstanding - friendly, professional, helpful, attentative.

We ate one night in the restaurant/bar at the front of the hotel, the food was delicious and service good. We also had breakfast one day - which was plentiful and delicious.

If you are looking for a hotel in central Wiesbaden, with comfortable, spotless rooms, great staff and a spa - this is the place for you! I highly recommend. It's not often I give 5 stars but it is definitely worth it, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't fault the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for courtyard view if you want a quieter room.

Luxurious days in central situation. Very beautiful hotel with historic charm and flair.
One can look for something similar long and won’t find it. The service of the house is excellent. Very friendly, helpful personnel. The business class room is very comfortable, the bathroom very spacious. Exactly the rooms are renovated level-wisely what doesn’t absolutely disturb. Reception and suitcase-services are very competent, politely and leaps. Breakfast, big selection, and meals exquisite, absolutely top class. Fascinating is the bath scenery, that was held consciously in the old style, but modernized.
No doubt, lets live itself here well. I have felt very well and will come again in any case.

The hotel and its spa is probably the oldest thermal spa place in Wiesbaden. We go there regularly to take thermal baths and enjoy it every time.
The hotel is under renovation now (some parts\floors) are closed for works but I must say that we were not disturbed by noise at all. Though we did not stay in the room during day time...
The older rooms do look tired, the renovated rooms are of course nice and fresh; the hotel itself has a nice atmosphere and character. One can only wish this won't be lost in the course of renovation.

This hotel is very nice and clean. Staff is professional and helpful. There's a free wireless internet, swimming pool and saunas. Unfortunately there's no fitness centre or gym… My room was bigger than I expected and very clean. I can't say a bad word about this place. Had very nice stay.

Room Tip: I've stayed there in november 2013 and there was some renovation going on on the first floor so...

I have stayed at this hotel twice now whilst working in Wiesbaden, there is a refurbishment of all the rooms taking place and it is needed, the staff I found to be helpful friendly and efficient, I had an issue with the shower and it was sorted very quickly, I only ate in the hotel once and had the club sandwich was is a little favourite of mine and can honestly say it is one of the best I've had, portions sizes are large so have a good appetite, the rooms were well furnished but very warm, thankfully the temperatures are starting to cool because I would not like to stay there in the height of summer, it would be like sleeping in an oven. would definitely stay here again and recommend this to anyone.

Great hotel - bathrooms are spotless, bed is comfortable, service lovely, and the historic nature of the hotel (and premium location) meant that this was a terrific trip. First floor rooms have little balconies as well!

Room Tip: First floor rooms have high ceilings and Juliet balconies!
