“Comfortable and conveniant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014

This hotel is situated in the heart of the town, everything is in a walkable distance. The rooms are huge, clean and extremely comfortable. I liked especially the athmosphere in the hotel. The spa is recommendable and the service is unique.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights this month.

Upon getting out of the car I was greeted by a friendly member of staff who offered to take my bags to my room.

As per the other reviews, the hotel is an historically old building under renovation. The room I was given was not one that had been renovated yet (well I would hope not), however it was a large room with a large bathroom. Overall was very impressed with the room, definitely one of the better ones I had stayed in.

The location of the hotel is pretty good, walk away from the center of the City (many bars, cafes and restaurants).

As for the services / areas of the hotel

Room Service - Although I did not use room service, I was going to but the menu was very limited so I decided to go out for dinner.

Spa - The hotel has a spa area in the basement. They have many treatment rooms (which I did not use) but they have a nice spa water pool, steam room and sauna. All extremely clean and very relaxing. The spa area for this hotel is excellent, almost worth a visit just for this!

Valet Parking - Priced at €25 a night I thought this was expensive vs. other hotels offering parking. This can quickly add up over your stay just to park your car.

Breakfast - This was pretty average and at €20, again it is expensive in comparison to other hotels offering a similar / better breakfast.

Overall, good staff, nice spacious rooms and nice hotel. Would stay again!

Average hotel. A lot changed since our previous visit. Some rooms are big but no bath. Busy with renovations while we were there, so it was a bit noisy. Situated very nicely close to the shops and a bus stop.

The old Historical hotel in the center of Wiesbaden carries the memory of all the past luxury of the place. Yet a full renovation is needed to match the latest standards of comfort (sound insulation, air conditioning, room design, USB plugs, modern desks etc).
A full renovation started last year and is expected to be completed this summer.
Will that include a faster elevator engine (going from Lobby Level to 4th floor feels like going to the 40th floor of a NYC high rise).

My room was renovated with a new and comfortable bed, but the desk area was still quite small, wihout appropriate modern plugs. TV offers a large screen, but before you can select a TV channel you need to navigate though all these lengthy options trying to sell you "movies" on demand, at high price. Who still needs those ?
Restaurant is good, and the wine selection is really good, especially if you plan to discover local german wines.
I hope to return this fall with a better experience.

I booked a Business package and it was well worth it! Our room was large, beautifully decorated and furnished to the latest standard. the most impressive feature was the bed! I don't remember sleeping in such a comfortable bed for a long time! our room had large windows facing the courtyard, the room was quiet and cozy.
Oh, and I loved the chocolates we were given as a welcome present!!!
The wellness facilities are nice, more could be done with the lighting in the swimming pool area.

The breakfast was nice and the staff was very professional. The location of the hotel is very close to nice local restaurants and a lovely park.
I will be definitely back! I preferred staying here than in Radisson Blu in Frankfurt!
Very classy place!

Radisson hotel in Asia countries has better Food selection and services than in Wiesbaden. International food selection should include Asian food, not Italian etc. Counter staff is very help and is quick to sell upgrade package to customer. Good Job. Cost should include breakfast. No club lounge or facilities. Front lobby too small and lifts are too slow; you have only 5 floors. I think. Facilities are newer and more high technology in Asian countries. Standard Iron and ironing Board not provided. Cannot control temperature of room. Hotel location is good, No time to enjoy the SPA facility. No bathtub in the room.
