“Beautiful decorated but not the best quality/price rate”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

Me and my wife checked in at this hotel at the end of March 2014. We really appreciated the great taste that is visible in all little decorations and the cozy atmosphere. The hotel is located quite centrally and with good access to public transportation.
The Wifi is almost nonexistent, disconnecting at every 3 minutes, so you better forget about it. The owner seemed nice at the beginning, but as days went by I got the impression that he could smile more. We felt a bit as if we were disturbing him by being there, which is kind of funny.
There is no shower gel or shampoo, so you better bring yours. It is quite clean, but not the best. They were doing the bed daily and changing towels, but not more, even if we stayed 5 days.
If you have a lot of luggage and you are not very fit, you might have some problems, since there is no elevator for the 3 floors.

We definitely recommend Wiesbaden as a lovely city, but we do not think that we would check in here again...

We checked in the hotel at last minute trip as most good hotels were ran out. the reception staff ( Mazrena), she is such a pleasant , helpful and customer oriented lady, very helpful with information around the city.

The hotel is designed and decorated with classic style, antic furniture but not feeling old. It is located uphill on a quiet street with 5-10min walk to downtown, depends on your fitness;).breakfast time ended at 09:30 too early for holiday people.

Mind you, there is no elevator , no free parking(cost12euro per day), no toilet for guest at lobby or public area. There isnt any service available after 9pm, if you need extra pillow or anything, better mention it when there is staff around. The hotel is call das klein, means small hotel, there is only one staff there who did everything from reception to breakfast .Most of time no staff is around ,door is entered with passcode or key. There is free wifi but you will be asked to login on and off. The fan in the bedroom toilet switched on automatically and will not off when light is off until 3 or 5 minutes later, very noisy during midnite if you needs to get up frequently for bio break. Old age people or pregnant women are not recommeded for the hotel.

Location is a bonus for the hotel.

Quaint hotel. Great breakfast and rooms are nicely decorated.
The only down side would be that there was quite a lot of dust over the tables, lamps and surfaces in our room. Otherwise good location and value for money.

Outside, the hotel looks modest, but inside the hotel is tastefully decorated with a personal touch that one can see the preference of the owner. The breakfest room was not like as many hotel, anonymous - but very friendly styled with top quality products. The hotel is to be found in a small quiet street.

Converted house, not far from main train station. No lifts, rooms cute with flowery wall paper. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast was really enjoyable, simple but very good ingredients and set-up very nicely & attention to detail. I must say that with a busy work schedule, I could relax & enjoy the setting & the classical music in a quiet ambiance.

Good hotel for the price and the location is great. Breakfast is basic - no cooked food aside from an egg, but I guess this is common to a lot of German hotels.

The reception when we arrived on Friday at 8pm was closed so we could not get in the hotel. When some guests left, we smuggled ourselves in and found our keys on a sideboard with a note. Not a great reception really, but I thibk the hotel is managed owned by one guy so maybe that is why

Also our room wasn't serviced on the first night so we had no fresh towels. The rooms were comfortable and decorated with some quirky antiques. For the price and location, I woul recommend this place.

The hotel is nice and very centrally located.
The owner is very polite and helpfull, and we can only give the hotel our recommendations.
Our only complaint is that the television in our room were very little, and like many other hotels in Germany it had only 2 channels not German, and that was both news-channels. It would be nice to have some other choices.

Room Tip: Room 32 is very quiet
