Chose this hotel for a short break based on the review on Tripadvisor and although the hotel itself lived up to expectations. The shower / toilet arrangement on 5th floor room was a little too unusual for us to consider returning.

The staff were very helpful and whilst they tried very hard, their age/ inexperience showed when it came to giving directions to either there carpark or recommended restaurant. The car park for example,is accessed in esssence by driving through the front of a shop and has no signs indicating that it belongs to the Mussmann until you have driven in and waiting for the car lift. Hint. The entrance is on the left as you drive down the one way street and is before Chopard . Suggest you use google maps and street view before driving to it.

Breakfast had an excellent range of hot and cold dishes and the staff very attentive.Although it is in the basement, it has the light and airy feel of a conservatory.

The bedrooms are very large and well appointed with a well stocked mini bar and good choice of pillows. Although near the main station, the double glazing is good and makes the room very quiet, but do not try opening a window to let in fresh air. Then you find out how noisy te area is.

Whilst the shower was obviously new and well finished as was the toilet, it is the arrangement in our room that would stop us visiting again, or at least requesting a different room than one on the 5th floor. Having a shower door that is frosted glass ( no musical shower !!) and open to the room might be a novelty or add to a spicy weekend, the same cannot be said for a glass toilet door with toilet right next to it !!!!. This arrangement not being helped by a dressing area leading to the toilet/shower that had large mirrors each side giving good views of the room ( or vica versa)

So although I would recommend the hotel for many points, best make sure you are very familiar with who you share the room with as you will certainly know them a lot more after !!!

For reference , our room was Sommernachtstraum.. This room is certainly NOT recommended for families

Room Tip: Check the bathroom arrangements, some have glass toilet and shower doors

Fantastic location, great staff, good breakfast buffet and large, comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms - loved it! As we were only passing through Hannover, but wanted somewhere close the shopping area, this hotel was ideal and surpassed our expectations.

A stones throw from the central station this hotel could be very noisy. however the inward facing rooms are very quiet.
The rooms all have names instead of numbers, but they are easy to find. The suite I had was very modern, and newly decorated, however the spartan style felt a little sterile. The bathroom was kitted out with a TV embedded in the mirror, and a musical Rain shower. when the shower was switched on and the temperature selected using the electronic controls, a light show played accompanied by music. I got "I am Sailing", my colleague got "It's raining men". Not seen this below, and I do like these added novelties.
There was a very well thought out basement area for a breakfast. Clever lighting and plant placement made the room feel open and very pleasant. The only problem was the hotel does not have its own restaurant, so evening meals will have to be sourced else where. However due to the central location there is plenty of choice when it comes to food.

Room Tip: Ask for a couryard facing room unless you like to view the busy station plaza

Directly across from the main train station, the hotel's rooms are devoted to different parts of the city and feature photos of these sites. Very well furnished with designer pieces and a notable rain shower (with music and lights, if you like that sort of thing).

All good. Very clean. Great for business. You can literally throw a stone to the main station.
