From the Ibis you expect the simple things, a clean room, friendly staff and not much more. This hotel was pretty much that. It was clean, comfortable and the staff at reception were friendly.
My only gripe with the hotel was it claimed there was parking onsite. We arrived early afternoon and parked our car and checked in (paying the additional parking charge). We then went out for the afternoon. When we arrived back at around 6:30pm we found the car park was full and we were told we would have to park on the street. The street was paid parking, but luckily it's free after 7pm until 9am Sunday morning. So we parked on the road, and left early. That is the only problem I had with the hotel.
It was quiet, as it's set back off the road and there are trees between the main road and the little road to absorb some of the noise. It is also a short walk (10 mins) into the centre of Aachen, so a pretty good location.More
