Nicely decorated spaces creating a relaxing atmosphere. It is situated nicely over the Rhine providing you with the possibility of having a joyful walk across it after a tiring day.

The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated and the breakfast is really nice.

The hotel overlooks the rhein with a very nice design in both the rooms and the public areas. Breakfast has very good variety. Staff very attentive and helpful. Didn't try the restaurants but heard they were very good as well.

I've have used this hotel numerous times for business over the last few years, whilst the decor is somewhat wild everything else makes up for it. Very comfortable bedrooms, nicely furnished everything you need if you are on business, plenty of plugs, free internet, printing service, coffee machine & complimentary shoe sign, trouser press and so on. Good food served in the brasserie and a cool breakfast to go option if you just want to grab a decent coffee and pastry. Can't comment much about local attractions as I solely visit the area for business, but suffice to say Colgone is only 20 minutes or so away, which is a lovely city. Finally the staff are generally very courteous albeit you do sometimes think the Bar Staff work at a snails pace!

Room Tip: Never had a bad room, you do need to master the light switches but they are the same in all the room...

The hotel is quite impressive but in a somewhat strange location. A bit far out of the city center located in an area with offices and a few restaurants. But nicely next to the Rhine River.

There is a parking below the hotel, about 20 Euro for an overnight stay. There is also street parking, free after 6pm till 9am. But it can be very busy.

The check in was easy. We booked a superior room so we were sure to be able to open the window.
Room is a good size and with a nice design. But it has to be your taste. But this goes for the whole hotel. We love it but it is very bold and colourful, so not for everyone.

Big bathroom which seems to be all open but with the sliding doors you can create some privacy if needed. The room has coffee and tea making facilities. And bibles for 4 different religions, which we find quite good, never seen that in any other hotel.

For us there was one huge drawback, which was the Live Public Viewing Area for the Football Championship. there was a 30 square meter screen and Germany had to play that night. So that caused a lot of noise. Loud music and a live commentator. With the windows closed you could still hear it quite well so we were a bit dissappointed by that.

also there was a big event that night inside the hotel. If you book a room on the Atriumside or with view on the inside you can probably hear the music quite well.

The breakfast was very good, a big range of bread, fruits, eggs etc. Loved it.
The coffee was good too.

If you want to go to the city by public transportation, there is a U-Bahn in about 10 minutes walk then about 20 minutes to the city center.
So that is ok.

Apart from the football we loved every minute at the hotel. We love Marcel Wanders' design so this is the place to be.

Would stay there again if in the neighborhood.

Room Tip: superior rooms have windows which can be opened. avoid atrium rooms in case of events

Dear „Eliette_B“,

thank you very much for your stay at our hotel and for taking your time to rate it on TripAdvisor. You are right – the design of the hotel is very special and not for everyone – the International well-known designer Marcel Wanders created in every square meter a potential favorite ‚Lieblingsplatz‘.

He wanted to give the guest a pure five-star feeling by creating a space full of surprises and beauty. We are very sorry that you felt disturbed by our Public Viewing Area. As well known, Germans love soccer and we wanted to create a favourite place for all soccer fans and give them a possibility to watch alle the World Cup games together. Thank you for your compliments to our breakfast buffet. We always try to create a variety of fruits, bread etc. for everyone.

Dear „Eliette_B“, we hope you will have the change to visit us again!

Kind regards,

Elmar Schmitz

We are the kind of traveller that likes small places best, not more than 30-40 rooms if possible. So we were a bit sceptic when we came to visit the Kameha! .. and were more than happy! The rooms are quite spacy, it´s a matter of taste really and even though the entire hotel is very big, it doesnt feel like it. The breakfast get´s a 5*, the Spa as well. The hotel is right next to Rhein-River, the view is lovely and from the rooftop pool you can see the Rheinriver, Siebengebirge and the city of Boon as well as sunset if the timing is good :-)

Contemporary hotel overlooking the river Rhine. Good service. Always very clean and tiday, Bar and restaurant prices are very high. Try the franchised Bavarian "hut" in front of the hotel with traditional dishes at much bettter prices and Bavarian beer. Make sure the aircon works in your room and ask for a room with a view if possible . Lots of corporate events so dont get an inside room overlooking the party area. Make sure yoiu get a rate that includes breakfast therwise it is abpout 24 euros

Room Tip: ask for an outside room with a view
