Probably the worst meal I have been presented with in a very long time. The staff are charming and do their job, they just don't have the raw materials to cook with.
We were on a Spa package, which included a three course meal in the restaurant.
Starters are a selection of cold pizza toppings, and for the main course there is a choice of pizza or pasta, both made using the starters. No gluten free choices available on this deal, although I believe there are other things on the menu. Desserts were tasteless just defrosted mass-produced yuk.
Is there a plus side? hardly, but we were able to negotiate a second one litre bottle of San Pellegrino (almost 9 euro on the menu) instead of a bottle of wine. I can't help thinking that we scored here, as a cheap bottle of plonk would cost them next to nothing whereas there would be less of a mark-up on the SP.
