As an English speaker that knows only a few words in German, I could not have been made to feel more comfortable. Very good bier! Service was prompt and friendly. It is good to know that in kolsch bars, the biers keep coming until you tell them to stop or put your biermat ontop of the empty glass. We did not eat here, but the portions looked sizeable and appealing.

This is a great little Kölsch pub in a pretty easy location off Rudolfplatz. The staff is friendly and the patrons tend to be locals relaxing. Today a group of older gents sat at the bar speaking Kölsch.

Didn't try the food, but the Reissdorf Kölsch was cold and good and the staff attentive. Would like to come back to try the food.

The pub has a really nice atmosphere. There is a lot choice on the menu. The food is good and portion size is large, but this is common in Germany. This place is good for quick eat and a chat.

If you don't speak German well, it's scary walking into a Brauhaus with only a phrasebook - but in this case well worth it. The staff were very helpful and friendly and didn't feel the need to demonstrate their excellent command of English unless I was floundering. We started with the goulash soup, which was rich and had plenty of very tender meat. We actually tried to order two starters but the waiter said that would be too much and we should just share one – he was right, and how many waiters try to get you to spend less??? Mains (pork medallions, Flammküchen) were also very generous and tasty.

An excellent and sociable evening. I'd say the food, Kölsch and service were the best of the three Brauhauses we tried, and the prices the lowest.
