located 20 minutes walking from the cathedral (so not the best location for a standard tourist) with a good parking for 27 euros per day)

nice lobby, frinedly but not well trained reception staff

the room was rather small but well equipped. good bed and pillows, nice decoration (the shower can be seen or not from the room depending of the position of a courtain between two glasses), well supplied minbar, bathroom small with good amenities, bathrobe and slippers. good safety box. not enough plugs and very poor air conditioned. good flat tv with good selection of channels in different languages

good free wifi

very good breakfast buffet with hot and cold dishes

dogs are accepted for 18 euros per night

i did not visit the spa

i did not use the restaurant and the bar, but both looked cosy

price not cheap, therefore the bad functioning of the air conditioned is unacceptable

i would go again to this hotel in winter, but not with good weather when air conditioned is needed. i do not recommend the hotel for the summer for this reason

Dear atontao,

thank you for being our guest and for reviewing your stay with us.

We are happy to read all the positive feedback regarding the friendly staff, the room equipment and the breakfast. So much more we are sorry that the air-conditioning didn´t work at all. Our engineering department will take care so that the room temperature will also be adequate during the summer time.

Best regards from Cologne

We spent 4 nights here while I attended a conference.
The room (# 1031) was nice sized, clean and well equipped including available electrical outlets. Two large windows opened completely for fresh air and a West view of the city (not towards the Dom). Nice and quiet with the windows closed.
The A/C did not work the 1st night but was repaired soon after I reported it.
The bathroom was clean with a nice shower/tub combo with sufficient room to store toiletries.
The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable.
The staff were all freindly and helpful.
Breakfast was nice with a good selection. The days of the conference, breakfast was a little crowded as one would expect but serivce was fine. After the conference and the hotel was less crowded, breakfast service was exceptional.
It is located in a nice area with a number of nice restaurant s nearby. It is also a 12 minute walk to the area of the Dom.
I would stay here again.
Photo is the view from our room.

Stayed for 1 night in a Superior Room on the 7th floor, the room itself was very nice with a really comfy bed and we had a view out of Cologne Cathedral from the window. Bathroom was also very nice with lots of toiletries given. Wi-Fi had a decent connection and had no issues with it during our stay. We had breakfast included in our booking and it’s probably the best breakfast we’ve ever had in all our travels. Can’t really think of much else you could possibly ask for from a breakfast buffet. Had around 10 different types of juices, smoothies, coffee machine, all kinds of tea’s, champagne. For the food: they had a variety of different cold meats, cheeses, selection of fruits, cereals, croissants/pastries with multiple jam’s, honeys, yoghurts. Also your usual hot food items too including sausages, bacon, egg’s etc. Location wise, Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof) is around a 15 minute’s walk away with local, national and international transport connections available; also have easy and quick direct access to Cologne Bonn Airport. Appellhofplatz and Friesenplatz underground stations are both only a 5 minute’s walk away. Attractions such as Cologne Cathedral, City Hall, Hohenzollern Bridge are all within an easy 15-20 minute’s walk from the hotel, as well as the Rhine Garden where Great St. Martin Church and Stapelhaus are located along with numerous restaurants/bars. Overall, we would definitely recommend Pullman Cologne and would happily stay again if we returned to Cologne even though it is pretty expensive but the room, service given by staff, breakfast makes it all worth it!

So happy to be back in Cologne and Pullman Hotel every year ...

Relaxing stay , very friendly staff , delicious breakfast and dinner .....

My overall rating should be " Excellent " but unfortunately it is " Very Good " because the rooms need a renovation... Especially , the carpets are looking very very old and the beds should be changed urgently as they are pitted which makes the sleeping quality bad.

So, once again thanks for your friendly welcoming and looking forward our next stay...

We got a very large room with a balcony, very quiet during the day and also at night. Comfortable beds, but 1 of them was really noisy each time we would move. Heated floor in the bathroom, very nice, just a pity that the shower is in the bathtub because it's not practical and of course water went everywhere on the floor too.
The breakfast offers plenty of choice with honey from the bees of the hotel itself. There is a parking underneath the hotel, very practical, 27 euro/24H just note that the places are quite small. The staff is very sympathetic and helpful. There is a bar at the top floor offering a great view over Cologne.W e enjoyed our free cocktails there but did not stay very long as sitting on the benches of the windows is not comfy enough. We really enjoyed our stay there and will of course return on a next visit.
