We were a little perturbed when we arrived at the hotel as the approach road is very narrow and was blocked with 2 large lorries. We eventually managed to get to the hotel entrance and parked outside although the parking is for taxis only so only suitable for unloading. I booked this hotel because it had a good write up and on going to reception, which is very modern and nicely decorated, I realised why. Immediately they showed me how to get to the garage space under the hotel which I very sensibly pre ordered. After parking in one of the only 3 spots they have available, on opening the door from the garage into the hotel, we found a luggage trolley on which we brought up all of our cases. This is the first time in 4 days of touring that we did not have to carry our heavy cases into a hotel or to our rooms. We got to our room which was really lovely and SO CLEAN. The room opened up to a small study containing a single lounge chair which could turn into a divan and a work table and chair suitable for a computer with socket points by the side. The wifi was very good. Then there was a sliding glass door to the bedroom itself which had 2 very comfy single beds. Very nicely decorated with a modern cupboard containing a safe and shelves with 2 free bottles of water. Nice bright lights were behind the beds in case you wanted to read. The bathroom held a luxurious double bath, toilet and sink with hair dryer and shaving mirror and for once in our tour of Germany a well lit bathroom suitable for my wife to put her makeup on without any mishaps. After we settled in we went downstairs to the reception where they gave us a map and showed us places of interest. They also had a bowl of apples which you could take from for later. We had a good nights sleep and in the morning had the breakfast which was at an extra cost but well worth it. We certainly didn't come away from there hungry. The waitresses were really kind and helpful and spoke English. They even provided soya milk for us after I had advised the receptionist the night before that my wife and I were allergic to cows milk. At only 90 Eu a night in a major city this was an absolutely great find and I thank all those who left great reports on the hotel so we made the best decision. The receptionist recommended a typical German food restaurant for supper which was great although they didn't take credit cards, only cash. The main attraction of the city itself is the cathedral and the hotel is situated within what would be a five minute walk if wasn't for the super shops you have to pass on the way. Men, go to a shop called Camp David and expect to spend some hard cash. So to recap: great hotel, great sleep quality, great staff, great service, great food ; in fact, just great.

Room Tip: We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the street on the night that a Germany played USA and never hea...

Perfect location near famous sightseeings (cathedral ...) and ancient town with "multikulti" charme.
I stayed there 2 nights, the value alright, and the breakfast was well sorted (once early, once late)

Room Tip: Room and bed were too small ... and my body is only average (173 cm) Nevertheless, I feel well. Kn...

I stayed three nights at this hotel during a business trip. The hotel seems to be newly updated, and is very elegant. The rooms are not big, but functional and clean. The shower is somewhat unpractical in the way that the bathroom floor often gets very wet. Breakfast was well-tasting and well supplied, and the hotel staff were helpful and nice. Best of all is the location - right at the entrance to the main shopping area in Cologne.

Very good location, in the heart of the town. Breakfast was good and and I was surprised to see a plenty of choice at 7 am when I had to check out. However, I have a feeling it was overpaid. Was it because of very small room and bathroom I don't know, but something was missing in this story.

Right on the edge of the shopping area and 5 minutes walk from the Dom. Brilliant location and the hotel was not too shabby either. Nice, clean, friendly, good value - couldn't fault the hotel. Worth staying at!

Hotel location is excellent for shopping, where many of the shops and restaurants abroad, as well as the cathedral, just five minutes walk away and you have access to the Rhine River and restaurants Partyah within minutes, but the hotel staff are not a high degree of culture and also there were some things defective after we lost acamera and they said they didn't find it but after Controversy with them we get it back
