9 of us, 50/60something men, stayed for a couple of nights at this modern Dusseldorf hotel.

The rooms are comforable and clean, the staff friendly and efficient, but the beakfast!

Reception told us that a cooked breakfast was available for 28Euros or a continental one for 15E but when we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that only the cooked breakfast was availble; continental breakfasts could only be obtained via room service.

28Euros seems for a breakfast seems very expensive to a Yorkshireman, so we decamped to the Old Town in a taxi and enjoyed a couple of croissants and a coffee each for 16Euro50 - for 5 that is, including the taxi fare!.

A very comfortable modern hotel with good restaurant and a sauna. Its location is superb right in front of an entrance to charming and quiet Hofgarten, the very first public garden in all of Germany. Ask for a room facing the trees!

Very Nice hotel, neaby center and next to a beautifull parc.
The room and bathroom are clean and big enough.
Parking space is easy and practical, bit expensive. 25€ per day.
Did not use the restaurant, we ate outside. We Will certainly return.

We stayed at the hotel over the Easter weekend. The location was excellent, a 10 min stroll thought the park to the old town and the Rhine. The room was lovely with even a pillow menu. We never had breakfast as thought 10 euro was expensive but had a drink in the bar which was very enjoyable. We would stay there again if staying in dusseldorf.

Stayed here for one night in April.
Welcoming and helpful staff, English well spoken at reception and bar/restaurant.
Very good sized room, clean and tidy.
Pleasant short walk through park to city centre and river with numerous bars and restaurants.
Minor issue was the slow WiFi connection but was told on check out there was an alternative faster speed which should been advised.

I recently spent a week at Hotel Melia for a trade conference close by. Hotel location is a positive to the old town, food entertainment etc. Rooms were comfortable and modern.
As a business hotel, the wifi management is completely lacking. Free wifi at low speed that is limited and a 5 euro charge for high speed wifi, which is costly after paying such a high daily room rate. The biggest concern is that you have to line up at the front desk and renew your wifi daily, which is ridiculous. As a seasoned international traveller, this is a waste of valuable time and remains frustrating.
