Having had the privilege to dine at the Astrid & Gastón in Lima, Peru as well as Peruvian restaurants in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Cologne AND Madrid (5 alone in the Spanish capital), Lima's Restobar can easily compete in authentic flavors. It has a more reduced menu, not offering tiraditos on its standard menu, but the other dishes are well prepared and have nothing to envy. The chicha morada (maiz drink), ceviche, Ají de gallina and the carne de res dish tasted fresh and delicious. Service was very friendly and they do their utmost to ensure you spent a pleasant evening with them (in our case, a birthday celebration).
