Second stay in this fresh hotel in a residential neighborhood in Düsseldorf not too far from the city center (walk/tram), surrounded by local shops, a supermarket and eateries.
We liked our superior room on the top floor with balcony. Quiet. Sliding door open all night. Good beds and simple but convenient bathroom with walk-in shower. Free WIFI and a full ironing board. Functional design. Sharp rates.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Next time we will use one of several breakfast options on the main road. They open up early, also on Sundays. So avoid the slurping tour groups and enjoy a German Konditorei.
The building itself is ugly and the hotel might consider to take care about the wast in and around the public bins. It is not pretty to make your way to reception through the dirt on the street in front of the hotel.
The next door public parking was closed for renovation, but reception was very willing to park our car somewhere else. We decided to park in the street. No parking fee in weekends. We arrived in the evening and reception was only staffed by a security officer. He checked us in, but off course did not greet us a Platinum Ambassador. No problem.
Will absolutely return again to this very decent hotel and relaxed neighborhood. Sure to have a good sleep.More
