Good place to unwind, and do a bit of people-watching. The park has an unmistakable air of old European palace's garden.

A well-maintained and beautiful park running along the City Centre for about 1,8km. Good for a walk during the very quiet German-City-Sundays. Connects the Rhine with Tonhalle, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, the end of Königsallee and cheaper shopping street Am Wehrhahn. The only coffee spot is the Theatre Museum in the middle of the park where sometimes a self-service terrace is open.

this park is an attraction, you will see there a lot of people, as it is a really nice green space in the City. Great sculptures, and many concerts etc during the summer... I believe there are spots for bbq and picnic areas but I did not experienced it yet. People are very proud about their Park

A well designed park, centrally localised in downtown. Fresh air, silence, singing birds.. Yes it is "a green paradise"...

Our tour book led us right through the heart of the park and then around it again. We were charmed by the weeping willows draping over the waters edge of the pond as ducks, geese, and swans lazily paddled by. The park looks like a great place to get away from it all for a soothing stroll or maybe a brisk jog or bike ride. Anyone visiting the city should put it on their list of sights to visit.
