This hotel is suitable for business travellers. The surrounding area has very little to offer in the way of bars and restaurants. Also the one bar/restaurant in the hotel was booked for a private function on the evening of our stay so we had to find food and entertainment outside the area. We took at cab to the old town costing roughly £9.00 and had a brilliant night.
The hotel is smart and clean, the rooms are decorated well, the bath room is bit on the ‘all style, no substance’ side but for one night’s stay it was adequate. There is very little privacy when using the toilet, the only thing that separates you from the loo and bedroom is a sheet of glass.
I travelled with my partner and managed to get a good deal £65.00 per night room only through last minute secret hotel service.
The receptionist was extremely grumpy on the day of departure, she tried to charge us for the pre-paid room and didn’t apologise when she realised she was in the wrong. The friendliest people in the hotel were the cleaners.
The SPA is naff, the best thing about it was the coin-op tanning bed. If you are looking for a Spa break look elsewhere.
The underground parking was about £15.00 but very secure.

Room Tip: Not much privacy in the loo

we stayed at this hotel during the weekend, the hotel is in a business area and clearly focusses on a business audience so weekends are very calm. Breakfast a very good (a large buffet offering a wide variety of choice).
Trendy designrooms and a very relaxing bed...

We had originally booked two nights (24 - 26 Dec) at the Innside Seestern (Düsseldorf). Two weeks before our departure, we were informed that the hotel would be closed over Christmas. However, the hotel didn't make any fuss and immediately changed our booking to the Innside Derendorf. We even got an upgrade to a suite without additional costs. We felt that the situation was handled extremely well.
You need to be aware that the hotel is situated in an environmental zone. If you arrive by car, you require a special sticker for your windscreen. This allows you to enter the zone. If you don't have this sticker and get caught, you might have to pay a daily fine of 40 Eur. If you arrive by train, take tram 707 leaving right outside the station to reach the hotel. A cab costs around 11 Eur.
Talking about location, don't expect anything. The area seems to be a mix of apartments and industrial. There are three restaurants within short walking distance.
Upon arrival, we asked the lady at the reception if she could suggest any restaurants that were open over Christmas. I knew it was going to be difficult to find any, so I had enquired before our departure, but without success. She seemed a little uncomfortable when she handed us three leaflets of pizza delivery services. The hotel restaurant and bar were closed until 30 December. We checked out the restaurants closeby, of which all were closed. Needless to say, the pizza delivery service didn't even pick up the phone. As we had a small kitchen in the suite, we got some food from the gas station. Not the kind of Christmas dinner you imagine. We also headed to the airport for shopping and dining (by cab 13 Eur).
Apart from this incident, we truly enjoyed our stay. The wellness area has two saunas, one steam room, tanning and a gym. You can also book massages with a qualified physio or massage therapist. The breakfast is plentiful. Everything is neat, tidy and very modern. We didn't want to leave anymore!
We would definitely go back. I can only recommend this hotel for people who want to get away from it all and unwind.

Great room, excellent food and really kind service (also speaking English). It is really really close to the airport ( ca 4 km) and with excellent connection to the city center (with only one bus or tramp). Bathroom in the room with really unusual milky-glass-walls makes a great impression. A place suitable for two or more people, price worth and with excellent breakfast with great range of choice of the snacks and coffees. Late check out (till 12.00) with the possibility of leaving your luggage at the reception. I would recommend this hotel to everybody interested to visit Dusseldorf.

This is a very nice business hotel during the week. During the weekend the hotel tries to find tourists for visiting Düsseldorf and this works nice because we were very satisfied. Very clean hotel, motivated staff, fantastic rooms, dinner was good and breakfast also. In general nothing to complain about. To the center it's about 10 minutes with the tramway.

The hotel seems new, is very modern, good staff, but it is located far from the centre. There is a direct tramline (707) you can take (10min, who comes every 10-15min), but we found it a little bit to 'inflexible' to go to the centre after diner at the restaurant.
The rooms are not big but very modern en clean, but because there is a lot of glass, it gave a spacious impression. Really well done. The bathroom area (2x3m) is fully made of (smokey) glass, with only shower. Almost all rooms are identical, but on the floor plan, I saw 2 bigger rooms/suite with bath. Toilet door is also smokey glass (so you see the shadows), with a direct view from the bed so no real privacy feeling. Not my cup of tea.

Breakfast was very good, fresh and a lot of choice! What was also good is that it was served until 10u30. Nice on a Sunday! ;-)

We choose this hotel because of a gift certificate (Bongo) we got, which included diner in the hotel. The quality of the (business-like) restaurant was really good, but not ideal if you want to have a romantic tête-à-tête. Wine list was on the higher side. Nice Whiskey list.
