I had the fortune of dining at the Walsumer Hof three times in the five months. I have never really looked at the menu and have always relied on Carsten, the very nice and superbly helpful waiter, to pick what's the best for that evening. I usually eat in moderation but I have left without room to spare because it's simply amazing. I usually ask that two of the fish dishes be smoked and the rest are the chefs choice. It's rustic fare (my favorite) and done with a lot of love. The owner/chef always stops by to make sure the dinner is to your liking (a really old school yet much appreciated touch).
