We had a very enjoyable lunch at Il Mulino. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and a nice selection of fresh vegetables to accompany it along with a pesto sauce. My colleague had pasta with tuna. The food came quickly, was piping hot (despite us eating outside) and the service was spot on. The pasta is better value than the fish at half the price but the quality of the sea bass was worth paying for.
Looked into the main restaurant before leaving and it looked very cosy. The wines on display looked very promising (good Italian tuscan wines).
Can't wait to try the evening service the next time I stay overnight in Essen
