“Standard hotel but very noisy”
Reviewed 24 June 2013

I was in Munster on a business trip and stayed here. The hotel is ok, it's clean and fairly modern. My room faced onto the car park and in the morning it was hard to sleep as I could hear people's full conversations in the car park, along with suitcases rolling and car doors opening and closing. Also, I called in the morning see what time breakfast finished and I had missed it by 4mins. I asked if they had something small I could eat at least like a bowl of cereal or toast and was told 'no sorry'.

There is no free wifi, which I think is poor service for hotels these days.

Room Tip: Ask for one not facing the car park

Dear Valued Guest

Thank you for taking the time to post on our property! We appreciate you sharing your experience with others.

We are so sorry that you were not able to sleep caused by the noise outside and therefore missed the breakfast next morning.

Actually we are in negotiations regarding free internet and we will hopefully be able to offer it to our guests by 2014.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future!

Best regards

Had to spend a night here on a business trip involving an exhibition at the Messe. For a four star hotel to have no English TV, no free WiFi, no Air Con, no information pack is really not good enough. The windows were worn and difficult to open or shut, and being next to the main road meant a noisy and sleepless night. It is only a ten minute walk to the town centre, so why not stay there!

I stayed in the hotel on a business trip to Münster. The interior is functional, modern and clean.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel has no own WiFi. However, there is a Telekom
Hotspot (you pay about 20 € for 600 min which you have to add to your bill).
The location is a bit off center. It's a 15 min walk to the train station.
Alternatively , there are two bus stops close to the hotel. The one in front of the movie complex
has an automatic ticket machine.

This is a very modern hotel located in a somewhat industrial area of Muenster, outside of the historical centre. There is a movie complex near by as well as a great number of bars stretching along the canal. It's about a 15 minute walk to the train station and the centre.

It's modern, clean, everything in the room.

Room Tip: Our room faced the road, a bit loud with party-ers at night but not a real issue. I would imagine th...

We checked into this hotel last Wednesday (15/08/12) and stayed two nights. It was clean, bright and the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. When I asked if they had an iron, I was offered one on the spot from a smiling member of staff. We discovered when we arrived that we had forgotten to pack our toothpaste so we asked at reception and they looked and looked for some for us and found some. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. There were cereals, granola with raisins, yoghurts, fruit, bread of all different types, croissants and also an array of hot food. There was a juicer on the table beside the selections of juice, you could squeeze the oranges yourself from the halves that had been provided in a bowl. The staff cam along and offered us coffee and tea at our table. We found this hotel to be perfectly adequate for our needs. For us, we could have done with free WIFI in the room or hotel. It was a business trip and we needed to check into our emails so we had to log onto 'roaming' with our phone providers. I know that there are two computers provided in the lobby to log onto the internet. I didn't ask how much it was. We had bought our iPads and smartphones and thought it would be enough. I didn't take the iPad out the whole of the trip.

Unfortunately, the weather was exceptionally hot and there was no air conditioning available in the rooms. It's not standard in all hotels there as they say there isn't really a need for it because it may only be nice for two weeks of the summer.

We did not drive but I know that you have to pay for use of the Hotel's car park. Again, not sure how much it is.

Don't allow the lack of air conditioning and no free internet distract you from what is actually a really nice, reasonably priced place to stay.

We had the unfortunate experience of staying here for 5 nights with our two daughters. We were given two extremely small adjoining rooms, with no wardrobes or drawer space. So apart from living out of suitcases, it was a claustrophic experience. Arriving on a Friday, we had to share the hotel with a couple of loud and rowdy groups of people, who were playing at or attending a Garage/Punk weekend. Prior warning to this, would have been appreciated, as we did not sleep the whole weekend, due to screaming, shouting, breaking glass..... It eventually went quiet at around 0730am... Only to reoccur the following night! I complained to the front desk, and the response was, they had received a number of complaints and there wasn't a lot they could do.. We stayed in rooms at the front of the hotel, and as it was July, (no air con available), windows had to be kept open. Avoid these rooms at all costs, during the summer months, especially if you have little ones, who are easily disturbed. The reason for the score of 2 instead of 1, is that there was a lovely Scottish housekeeping lady who was very friendly and helpful, and some of the staff at breakfast were really polite and courteous. The rest of the staff could do with a refresh on their customer service skills, and note that a smile doesn't hurt......

Room Tip: Avoid the rooms at the front of the hotel, and be advised that parking was not free...... Also no fr...

A modern hotel outside the centre of Munster and a good possibility tp park your car.
Everything is clean and breakfast was very tasty. Indeed it is a 10 minutes walk to the old town, but who cares?

Room Tip: Rooms at the parking site are much quieter, because there is a lot of traffic.
