Upon arrival, we were a bit concerned due to overall appearance and traffic noise. Once inside, we were greeted by the owner, Mr. Jerko Sinkovic, who offered us a welcome breakfast. The hotel is an older property, that is partially furnished with items from a former cruise liner. Our room on the 3rd floor, was spotless and soundproof. There are two sets of double pane windows which block out 100% of any street noise. A flat screen TV with satellite cable service and mini-fridge were in each room. The bathroom, while dated, was like the room- spotless. The wood laminate floor looked new. Free Wi-Fi was a nice plus. The owner asked us what time we would like breakfast the next day. After a good night sleep, we ventured to the dining room to find a table set for the six of us: fresh fruit, assorted yogurt, fresh baked rolls, eggs, and breakfast meats, all waiting for us. Fresh ground, brewed coffee was served along with tea and juice. The owner directed us to a pedestrian street filled with a variety of shops, and the bus stop only steps away. Despite initial appearance, we enjoyed the hospitality.More
