I stayed here one night on my way from Dusseldorf to Frankfurt, as I had some business meeting nearby. The town itself is a small one and the hotel is very close to the market square.
The hotel entrance is right by the pavement on the main road. There are two steps to get in, and then there are another 5-6 steps up to reach the reception area. This can be a challenge if you are carrying heavy luggage. Check in was a breeze and I was given a room on the 4th floor.
The room was split into a sitting area with a sofa central passage with the shower and WC on either side and the main bedroom. The bed was large which left little in the way of walking space. The sitting room also had a coffee machine with pods of various strengths.
They have free internet but only through a LAN cable which they provide. The WIFI works only in the reception/restaurant area. The internet speed was very good. The bathroom fittings were very modern and basic toiletries were provided. The bed was a tad soft for my liking, but I was too tired and slept well.
Breakfast was a simple affair, but you had options of eggs to order. Service was homely and it appeared as if members of the family were also manning the kitchen.
Good option and great value for money.More
