This is about a 15 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof and is a bit out of the way of the old town although close to the riverside. The Reception staff were welcoming although not all spoke English. On their website, it says there are bathtubs in the room - there aren't, It says there is a minibar - we had an empty fridge! It says there is a radio but the only radio is a station on the TV. I also read that there were bathrobes but there were not. The air con is very noisy and we had to switch it off as it was on constantly. The bed was very uncomfortable and is possibly the worst sleep I've had in a hotel: I woke up every day with backache and stiffness.
There was no 'English' tea, only fruit teas. I left a note on the first night asking for any equivalent but this went unanswered. One day we came in to find our sugar had all gone! My husband asked the room service in the morning but he was trying to send him down to the restaurant. In the end, he went into an empty room and removed theirs ( 2 sachets)- probably what happened to ours. We left a note before going out for more sugar and left this note each day but no sugar appeared. Rooms were cleaned daily although being woken at 8:15 a.m. To have it cleaned was a bit much - even after we informed them that we were checking out that day, they still knocked again at 9:45 whilst we were showering and packing to go home!
First of all, the parking garage is just awful, very difficult to maneuver with larger vehicles. Reception was very nice, room with business package on 3rd floor also absolutely on the money. Wifi was excellent in the room, beds were superb, furniture bit used but still ok. Some hairs left in the shower, not ok. Dinner was a mixed thing, food was nice bit but not excellent, and quite expensive. Wine in 0.1l for 5€ is bit of a stretch, and service in the bar was very slow. Breakfast was very nice, Check-out was quick and absolutely professional. All in all, I have mixed feelings about this place, but will very probably return for my next business trip to Koblenz.
Is one of the best hotel in Koblenz; rooms are not so big but are comfortable. All the other things are fine.
I can reccomande this hotel for people who wants to stay near the city centre; it's not so far! At the end...a good place to stay.
Stayed for one night in this hotel. Booked a superior room with business package. Superior means a side view of the river Rhine, and the business package includes fast internet. Both were a bit of a disappointment. The view could have been better and so could the quality of the speed of the internet. Parked our car in the public car park which was not free. As soon as you enter the hotel lifts, there is an awful cooking smell which hits you. This is also true in the lobby area. We had dinner in the restaurant and the quality of the food was excellent, however, there were multiple flies attacking us during dinner, very annoying. The room itself was spacious, with good coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom however is very tired looking and at most functional. Quality of bathtowels far lacking for a 4 star hotel. Old and visibly used. We had breakfast in our room which was ok, but they managed to serve cold scrambled egg and lukewarm coffee. Would not return to this hotel.
We recently spent one night here and were very pleased. The view from our 10th floor room looked at the Rhine and across to the fortress. Breakfast was excellent. Food service and bar staff, front desk staff and housekeeping all were top notch. Excellent location next to the Rhein-Mosel Conference Center.
