Al Cortile is a very popular restaurant in the center of the historic shopping district just off Augustiner-Str. We had reservations for upstairs (street level) seating - an absolute must on a saturday night as a number of people were turned away just as we were seated. The food was very good - not inexpensive. The mixed anitpasti was very nice, the meats and cheeses appetizers/antipasti good, but overpriced. The fish (perch on Arborio rice) was excellent and so was the veal roulade stuffed with a paste made from pumpkin, amaretti nd dried tomatoes and served with spinach gnocchi. The pizzas for which the place is known were large with a nice crust and toppings. You can get reasonably priced Italian wines for about 25€ a bottle. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely a place to recommend.
