This friendly little spot is the real deal when it comes to an authentic German Cafe - if you can manage to get past the pastry counter (filled with an amazing array of delights) treat yourself to breakfast or lunch but be sure to save room for dessert. We are still waxing on about the apple strudel - positively sublime. Lunchtime can be busy and the service a little slow but relax - don't be in a hurry - enjoy the scene and savor the treats.

We stoped in for a beautiful breakfast. Coffee, breakfast egg, breads, cheese and fruit, and an assortment of cold cuts. A pastry counter to die for. Pots of hot delicious coffee. Perfect place to get fueled up for a morning of exploring. Service was good and friendly.

I was drawn to this place by all the desserts in their windows. We had a delicious apple tarte in vanilla sauce yesterday. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

A typical German "Café" unchanged over the years but well kept. Very friendly service, excellent quality of cakes, but also for the small dishes for lunch. In front of the cathedral with a very nice view on the market place.
Very good place for a break between the sightseeing :-)

This is a must - an old fashioned tea shop with so many choices. The cakes are beautiful and lite and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We went there twice for tea and cakes and we will go back on our next visit. You choose a cake and then the staff behind the counter give you a ticket and you sit down at your table - the waitress then comes a LNG and takes your ticket and brings your delicious cake. The system is easy and works really well. Enjoy your visit. About 14euros for tae & cakes for two
