Ate here three times last week. As always, excellent service, efficient and friendly. Excellent BitBurger on tap. We had Stroganof, Venison steak, Cod, Venison Ragout. Homemade Spätzle was excellent. Nice choice of desserts. For a modern German flavour you'd be hard pressed to do better.
Menu is available in various languages.

A friend and I went to Brasserie Trier on a Wednesday - it wasn't terribly busy and we were able to secure a table without a reservation.

The service was prompt but not overbearing and the staff was incredible. Our particular server allowed me to practice my broken German which was helpful.

The food was phenomenally good and I can see why this restaurant takes the number 1 in Trier. I had a beef fillet with mushrooms in red wine sauce that was complimented with seasonal vegetables and scalloped potatoes. The meat was cooked to precision - not overdone in the slightest. My only complaint was that the carrots were a bit bland but that's criticism of a single item on an expansive plate. I struggle to find anything wrong with the food. My friend ordered a vegetarian dish that was spaghetti in a white asparagus pesto. I found hers to be a little heavy on the garlic side but otherwise very good.

The decor is elegant given its location near the major tourist thoroughfares of Trier. Strongly recommend.

Lovely surroundings, attentive and helpful staff and excellent food; on two consecutive evenings. Wonderful!

Based on prior ratings we decided to try this restaurant. The appetizer of potato pancake was okay but not crisp. The soups were good. The mains, pepper steak and venison were perfectly cooked but the main issue was the service. It took 20 minutes to get another glass of wine and by then our food had gone cold. The waiter seemed to ignore his tables as I saw others waiting on him. Other staff were equally unhelpful. This was a Tuesday night so not exactly super busy. Would not recommend and this is my only bad review on this trip.

Having been disappointed in our first night of dinning in Trier we thought we would give the Brasserie a try. Managed to get the last table for 4 for that evening.(booking advisable).
The evening was a total success; the food been excellent and the service been so professional and of the highest quality. Anyone who can remember 7 drinks 4 starters 4 mains without writing them down is on top of their game and providing great service.
Would love to eat there again
