When the locals converge to eat at a local hotel its a great sign - and the Blesius Garten serves terrific meals in a outdoors courtyard which has "atmosphere". Room was clean and certainly had space to spare and the bed was very comfortable whilst the bathroom was pleasant and clean albeit not spacious. Secure cycle storage available and regular buses to Trier city centre run from outside hotel.

We arrived at this hotel as a last minute stop. Since we did not have any reservations, the hotel staff was only able to accommodate us for one night. The room that we stayed in was quite small and not air conditioned. An interesting touch to the hotel was the ornate decoration. I think it made the hotel seem gaudy/tacky, but it did give some personality.

What really made the hotel awesome was the nice walking path next to the hotel. It has a creek and is a very pleasant walk. The area in which the hotel is located is some distance away from Trier central and is quiet. I recommend this hotel due to the price and the pleasant service I recieved while visiting Trier.

My Aunt and cousin reserved the room for me and everything about it was perfect. The rooms are big and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was just like my Oma's growing up! I didn't eat dinner or lunch at the hotel because my Tante's home cooked dinners I know were better lol. Though there is a small brewery at the hotel which had great beer. This is a great value and well worth the money.

Pleasant stay.rooms more modern than the pictures show.food delicious, but the bar area was a little lacking in atmosphere and was a little cold. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

A gem of a Hotel half-way on our route from A to B. Once found (without GPS, only a map), it is a peaceful luxury well worth more than one night.
Efficient, multi-lingual and pleasant staff throughout the hotel, made us feel like valued guests, even the workers who were busy renovating some of the bedrooms overlooking the beer garden.
We arrived mid-afternoon, mid-March, and were already able to enjoy a local beer in their Beer Garten, and local it was, as this establishment has its own Microbrewery on-site! My husband and I enjoyed some more with a local rustic dinner, one of 2 or 3 restaurants on the premises.
The list of beers brewed on site helpfully shows the % of alcohol, in case one needed to know…
The rooms were delightfully comfortable, with a bed I’d like to take home with me… and first class linens and bedding. Bathrooms roomy and with all expected amenities; though I’d rather not see upside-down squeeze soap dispensers in hotels, they are not only hard to operate for someone with arthritic hands, but are most unhygienic, when you think about it! The non-touch ones would be more appropriate for such a high class establishment, or at least the little individual bars of soap one used to get (my only complaint at many hotels!)
In the Breakfast room, an inviting and tantalizing buffet was displayed for all tastes; worthy of a mention: Gluten-Free items, a “Honey Bar” with 3 kinds of nectar to pump into individual bowls, Champagne, etc. Also, coffee is served all day from an ornate Samovar in the main lobby for guests’ pleasure… it’s the little things, you know… they all add up to a most pleasant stay. Just before we left, our kind waitress offered to take our photo, which was most appreciated!
If we were to stay here in the warmer season, we would want our room not to be on the beer garden side, due to the noisy revellers...
Sadly, we did not have time to use the Spa.

,

Room Tip: Beer Garten could be noisy at night and weekends...but fun!

We were looking to stay at place off the beaten track on route to Paris with easy parking for our motor home. We also wanted to have a rustic German experience and not worry too much about luxury. We had managed expectations and kept an open mind we had a nice welcome to the hotel by the staff who were very helpful throughout. The room was a good size nice, clean and comfortable the hotel also brews its own beer, which was lovely. We ate in the hotel restaurant which served a very nice food but we had a long wait to receive our meal. On the whole we had a very enjoyable stay and we had our rustic German experience along with fine beer. Thank you for making our family so comfortable.

When entering the reception area we were not impressed at all. It's not very welcoming and it needs some refurbishment. It was loud, too: noises coming from the bar. That was soon forgotten when we came on the second floor where our room was. It was a pretty large, nice and clean 'comfort' room with good beds. The bathroom could have been somewhat larger. We had booked the 'Kennenlern'-weekend which included 2 nights + breakfast, a 3-course meal on the first night and a 5-course meal on the second night. And free admission to the wellness centre with sauna (nudity mandatory in the sauna), infrared cabin, and indoor pool, which was nice. Beauty treatments on request.
The food in both the Brauerei and the Wintergarten was excellent and plentyful! They also had a good selection of wines.
Location of the hotel was very convenient: quiet and yet walking distance to the city centre (20 min.).
Only disadvantage was that the Brauerei restaurant was pretty loud because there is no partition between restaurant and bar.
