Charming traditional penzione located on the edge of Trier. Fantastic breakfast. Great spa facilities (although spa services themselves were full and seemed to require booking in advance). Helpful staff.

The only thing I would change is the window between the bedroom and bathroom of our room. If you're going to have a window, at least put a curtain on it!

We had a nice stay at the hotel. Atmosphere of hotel was traditional with lots of brown wood and decorations on the wall. The De Luxe rooms were however spacious and had modern furniture, and -of course- very clean. The staff was friendly and service-oriented. We enjoyed drinks at the bar. The hotel has a bistro and two restaurants where we enjoyed a nice typical german dinner. We can surely recommend it. But don't expect the hotel to be located in the woods judging from the pictures, it is in the middle of a (quiet) town.

This is a charming hotel with well appointed and spacious rooms (in the superior class we booked). It has a lot of regional charm and a friendly efficient service. I can recommend this hotel to my fellow travelers!

The room was nice, bathroom was a bit small but all updated (the bigger rooms have bigger bathrooms). The spa was great, nice sauna, steam room and there is a large indoor pool, very impressive. Restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was way overboard (best breakfast of our entire trip and it's included). We will be back next time passing thru there but we will make time for an extra night just because of the hotel.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony.

I stayed in Eurener Hof for 4 days During May of 2010, visiting Germany for a business trip. I was with colleagues and everything was nice, clear and with a good service.
They had also the flexibility to offer us a special rate for the renting bicycles they have.
The only negative for my Business trip was the lack of Internet wificonnection. This is the only negative part and I am really sorry to say that this small fact, makes my review not to rate them as exxcellent.

This hotel is located outside the city center, so to visit Trier you should take your car or public transport. The hotel is a nice old building, outside and inside. There were some renovations taking place, so I guess that more redecorated rooms will be added. We stayed in a unrenovated room, which was oke. Clean but oldfashionated bathroom and dito furniture. New flatscreen tv. The hotel swimmingpool is oke, but the spa facilities were excellent. Robe and towel at the reception. Nice waterbeds to relax on. Everything clean and quiet. Super. We had diner at the restaurant, which was also nice. Try the serbian farmersskewer. Tasty! A great stay at a nice hotel with very affordable prieces.

Spent 4 nights at this hotel recently and overall more than satisfied with the accommodation. Had a lovely room on the top floor which had some sloped ceilings and one rounded window, which added character.

One concern I would have though if it were in the heat of summer, would be the lack of any a/c. It was even a little warm at the end of May, but we just opened the regular window and it worked fine for additional air circulation.
The only other negative comment I can make was in reference to smoking in the hotel. We had a non smoking room however on a couple of nights when we returned to our room there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hallways on our floor which could be smelt a bit in the room as well. Fixed the problem by shoving a large towel under the entrance door to block any spaces and this worked well.
Don't know if the smoke was coming from a smoking room nearby or possibly floating up the stairwells from the smoking side of the restaurant below. They are actually 2 completely different rooms separated by a hallway.

The restaurant however is definitely the highlight of this accommodation. Very good quality food which was apparent as there were as many locals as hotel guests dining each night. They were fully booked every night of our stay. Also served a very nice breakfast each morning with plenty of variety.
