Nice hotel and very quiet - could not hear the people in the next rooms at all. A little bit far out of the centre for my liking but there are connections, it's just a bit of a pain to get back to at night as it involves a bus and a tram. Nice clean room and the staff were all very pleasant, and there is a restaurant and bar which have good opening hours. You can also buy Dresden Cards at the reception and postcards and stamps. There is free wifi but it did not work for us. The breakfast buffet was ok, though the scrambled eggs have bacon mixed in, which as a vegetarian I was not pleased about, and some of the fruit seemed a bit dodgy. Also it seems that the hotel is used by a lot of seniors' coach groups so you need to get in there very early or the silver squadron will have filled the place. There is only one English TV channel - Euronews.
In general we would be happy to stay there again though I would prefer a different location.More
