Slightly outside the city centre, but within walking distance to two supermarkets which is handy given that some of the rooms have a kitchenette, which makes it easy to do a little food shopping.

The rooms have a sitting area which is separate to the bedroom making the rooms more of a mini apartment rather than a conventional hotel room. Rooms are clean, spacious and offer all amenities (TV, kettle, etc.). Bathroom had no bath, but there was a spacious shower.

The restaurant/breakfast food was of a good standard and enjoyable.

All in all it was a fuss free, comfortable experience, with nothing to complain about.

I was pleasently surprised at the size of the room as I entered. Great value for money. Neat, clean, fantastic location. Very close to downtown Dresden and connect to the motorway in 10 mins drive. Very good breakfast spread. Quite spacious restaurant. Safe parking both outside and underground. Extremely friendly staff.

Room Tip: If you are a family choose ( I dont remember the title), ask for a room that also has a couch. This...

In Dresden on Business and this is where I ended up for a week and it had everything you hope for.Good, quiet rooms, a nice bar and a marvelous breakfast. The location, slightly outside the city core is actually a plus.

We spent two nights here, on our first visit to Dresden. We took the tram from the train station, following the hotel's very clear directions. For seeing the sights, we took another tram, which was fast and convenient. We liked being a little outside of the hubbub of central Dresden. The Dresden Card, which covers most of the sights plus transport, is a great bargain for the visitor. Our room was clean, quiet and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet, priced at 9 Euros, was really extensive and we found it a very good value. Service at the hotel was friendly and efficient.

The day before we arrived in Dresden we were emailed excellent directions from the hotel.  They explained, very clearly, how to get from the train station to the hotel using public transport.  A short train ride and then a tram which drops you off very near the hotel.
The check-in was smooth and we were assigned a room on the ground floor which measured up to the Best Western standards.  Decent size room, good linens, and very clean.  Tea and coffee making facilities are provided on request, there is free WiFi throughout the hotel at no extra charge, and there is coffee 'to- go' available at the front desk till 10 am.  Help yourself!
The staff at the front desk could not have been better.  Very helpful with our many queries.  Always very curteous.  Made a few phone calls for us as we do not speak German.  They even sell public transport tickets which makes it very convenient.
The hotel has a bar and restaurant but we chose to eat in town.  I would strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is excellent value with well appointed ,spacious rooms. The room decor is modern and you have every thing you need in them. If you require a tea/coffee facility then just ask the reception and you are given it for your room.
The hotel is 10 mins away from the centre of Dresden but the bus and tram services are superb and easy to work out. Tickets are available from the reception and if there are 2 of youor more, then ask for a family ticket ,which allows you both to travel anywhere all day (dont forget to validate your ticket in the machine when you first get on though or a ticket inspector could fine you ,ok) Brilliant place to stay at a reasonable price.Dresden is fab.A wonderful city with great history and the Best Western will not disappoint.

A nice, spacious and quiet room.

There was a bookelet in room with a lot of valid information. And the ladies in recption offered more. They sold us the cheapest tickets to public transportation.

Centrum is 10 min away by tram or night bus.

Free wireless web.
